Is Weight Loss Surgery for Me?
After 6 years of type 2, Hypertension and high cholesterol I made a conscious decision to have gastric sleeve surgery. A short 2 months later and 87 pounds lighter I no longer am on any medication! Fasting glucose average has been 92, my BP is 110/70 and I feel great! Im exercising and have added a few years to my life. Whats to think about? I had no complications, no pain, no throwing up, nothing! If your serious about gaining control of your health and your life, this surgery is your opportunity to make lasting changes and get off the Yo-yo dieting. Your mother loves you and is concerned but you are hurting yourself if you continue to be obese.

Weight loss stall!
I’m 8 weeks post surgery (sleeve) and all has been going great until about a week ago. My weight loss has hit a wall! I only eating meal replacement shakes or soup and a no fat yogurt for an afternoon snack. My caloric intake is below 800 calories and I am exercising 2 times per day, morning is cardio for an hour and evening is weight training for about 30 to 45 minutes and then 30 minutes of cardio again. Any ideas to help break through this stall in my weight loss? Thank you for any suggestions you may have.

I didn't realize when I lost weight that _____
I can cross my legs now and do not require a seat belt extension on an airplane! Sitting on a hard chair is a bit uncomfortable, lost all my padding!

Starting early before surgery... Anybody else work out.. pre op...
I started out about 7 weeks before my surgery on a Very Low Calorie Diet (600 calories perday) and worked out 2 times per day. I lost over 30 lbs and got my self ready for the surgery. I had surgery on the 15th of May and I am doing fine, no complications, no pain nothing. I say keep it up and get on a very strict diet, you will be glad you did.

May 2019 Surgeries ?
Just completed my surgery on the 15th of May along with a Hiatal hernia repair and the first 16 hours was a bit rough but I must say, getting up and walking as they reccomended really helped. I am 2 days out of surgery now and feel like a million bucks! I have no pain, no nausea nothing! I pushed myself very hard during the Preop diet and excercised like a mad man and I really think this helped. My wonderful wife has been a really great partner in this success story.

YOU GUYS I AM SO EXCITED BUT NEED ADVICE! PLEASE
Best advice I can give is to follow your Preop diet and really try to excercise and get ready for the surgery. I just completed mine and I must say I have no adverse side effects and feel great. I am not bragging but I excercised and dieted like a mad man getting ready for this one.
