Good morning to all, i was wondering if anyone living in nyc? Which hospital did you get your surgery done? And which wls did you get done? And how was the it.

Me too...but I told my cousin who's also my best friend & not even my mother who lives with Me. Family can be very judgemental.

So I have h-pylori stomach bacteria was treated seven weeks ago (10 tablets) daily for 10 days. Bacteria didn't go away & now I'm taking 12 tablets daily. I'm super tiered, my eyes looks like I'm on drugs & my body hurts. Every morning I wake up with this bitter metallic taste in my mouth. Hoping this time the bacteria will be gone!!!!

I have a bruised similar to yours that won't go away over a week now. My skin never bruised when they take blood or give shots & I kept wonder why it bruised n why it won't go away as well

I was going to post the same thing reading all these horror stories on here have me thinking twice about wls. I'm schedule for April 19 & I'm iffy about it.

Mines is 2 days I'm guessing each surgeon have different requirements.

Yeah mines didn't tell me that either only to stay away from regular soda.

I'm not a drinker but normally I'll have a glass of wine or martini on my birthday or special occasions (so about 8 glass of alcoholic beverages for the year). My surgery date is April 19 & I celebrate my 30th bday in June. Also my brother getting married in Jamaica (island) in August & I'll be attending. Read a diary entry online that after bariatric surgery no alcohol for one year. It's Saturday so my nutritionist is not in office. Is it true? Did your surgeon or nutritionist said that no alcohol for one year? Thanks
