Today is the end of my love affair:) I think I may be that person to drive from place to place just to get those few things I will miss the most, right after sons football practice I will enjoy this fully until we officially break up tonight at bedtime:)

Amazon has it. My Dr office sells that to us and what they require us to use before surgery. I did look it up there and they have a variety so I would try there.

Oh thank god I am not the only one:) I just made brownies ha ha. Last night I had filet mignon with baked potato and French onion soup ha ha. Trying to think of what to have tonight as my farewell, I'll miss you food meal:) On the plus side I did make jello ha ha ha!!

I have been worried about people asking this, I have my closest co-workers know why because we work very closely and I will be out for a week. I have talked with them and they all agree it is no ones business how or why I am losing weight but to answer the question with something I/we came up with I am on a medically supervised liquid diet and that is all anyone will know.

April 9th at 7:30am, I start a full liquid diet tomorrow.. OMG! I have been that horrid person who has ate everything that I know I will miss.. but on the good side I did switch to decaf and no sugar and no sodas over 2 weeks ago. Anyone doing a farewell to food meal?

You get pureed food right after? You are so lucky:) My Dr's schedule for his patients is: Days 1-14 Clear liquids Days 15-21 Full liquids and Protein supplements Day 22 you get clearance for mushy foods:) The mushy food is for 6 weeks:(

I am very jealous, when I start my pre op Monday it is 4 shakes and 2 bars and up to 3 sugar free jello or popsicles and broth and other liquids to reach the 64oz and that is it:( no real food because I wouldn’t consider those bars real food.. They are awful:( ?

I think we all have something about this that scares us, I am more worried about the pre op shakes than the surgery because I know that the surgery is for a greater good and I can't wait to start a life that is healthier. Look at your name you picked.. you are supergirl:) You will be just fine!! Think of all the things you can enjoy so much more with your kiddos it will be well worth it.

I'm sorry:( I was approved and I have been waiting because I work for the school system and wanted to plan for around spring break to use the least amount of leave as possible, I ended up asking for a date the week before just so I only asked for 1 week then was off for break the next. I hope things work out and everything goes smooth:)

I have been eating all my wants and I plan to have a good bye to real food before I am on the liquid diet! I plan to eat a steak and dessert? But I have been cutting back but eating everything I think I’ll miss?

Oh my.. I wish I could say never had a surgery;) I’m glad you live close so you can get there and start to relax and hopefully be done with it before too much anxiety comes!

I went back and looked also it is nice we have 4 on the same day and I will cross my fingers you can get in early!! Are you close to your hospital? I think having to wait for a time would be something to drive me nuts lol. Hard to plan if you don’t know a time. But pray you get early:)

You’ve got this! No problems. Now we are just on the countdown. Less than a month to go. I’m happy that I am first thing in the am as well. I live just over an hour from the center/hospital, so there is always that when I have to be there bright and early. ?. Oh well...small price to pay. Oh wow, I live 15 minutes away from my hospital which I know it’s a sweat pants and bun kinda morning so I can get up at 5 and be there by 5:30:) I think I’ll be fine once this 2 week all liquid diet before surgery is done. I’m not worried about after so much just nervous about making sure I am eating just what is on list for “mushy” phase that starts for me at week 4-6 after surgery day.

I will definitely do the same. My time is 7:30. I’m happy I am first that morning but omg having to be there at 5:30 shew!! I’m normally at work at 6 so this gonna be fun:)

April 9th@ 7:30 here and I was approved super fast as well I only waited until morning 3 and got the call. I was so nervous waiting when the call came I thought she was gonna say denial because I was told I’d hear something in a week or so .shew

We are getting a nice size group I love it!! Had my 2 hour nutritional lecture today and I have never been so happy to hear I can have sugar free jello, popsicles and broth during my 2 week pre op diet?

Oh it is the texture of this power that gets me? My class and Day that I get my shakes and such is Thursday praying that I can convince them to let me go a different route and have pre made shakes

I am going to buy different ones even if they say I am supposed to just have theirs as long as it is the same or very close protein and such because if I can't drink theirs I am getting no where quick except HUNGRY:) Thank you all for the suggestion it is great!

I am going to ask if I can buy my own shakes but on the papers it says that everyone goes on Bariatric Advantage for 2 weeks before:( I do hope that I can buy my own but I am not holding breath on it.. I will have to adjust and figure it out for 2 weeks one way or another. I just think this will be the hardest part for me..

I did add ice to my last one and was able to drink it. I am gong to ask them if it is mandatory that I use their brand... I know on the paperwork it says I will have to pay the money to them for the products but all are powder and I also think that the premade ones are much better. I know that when this 2 weeks starts I will be saying I'm sorry a lot lol:)

Right now it does seem brutal since I can not make it past samples omg how will I live on this for 2 weeks? I will make it somehow just right now I don’t see how.. dreading March 25th when this is my life:(
