  1. So excited for you! You're going to do great.
  2. That's awesome that you and your mom are doing this together. That's great! Mind sharing the video Url? If it was good for him, I may show it to her too. She also is a high anxiety kid. Thanks!
  3. [emoji122][emoji122][emoji122] 219 pre-op is amazing, Purpledva! Nice work. Congratulations!
  4. Pretty much! What does your 9 year old think of all this? I have a 9 year old daughter. She's super supportive of the increased fitness. (She's very sporty.) But she doesn't like my hospital stay.
  5. I went with Bariatric Choice. Doing the once daily capsule pre-op and then switching to the chewable ones after. Decent coupons and a discount on buying a 90 day supply.
  6. Definitely! The jello tastes better than I remember.
  7. I'm trying to take advantage of the unlimited liquids. I was surprised they let me have one meal of solids, although I can't really deviate from the plan. The chicken stock helps -- it at least tastes like food.
  8. So let's hear everyone's liquid/liver shrink diet routine. I'll start. Morning - decaf coffee - protein shake w/ a tbsp of PB Fit - water or Crystal Light Lunch - chicken stock - protein shake w/ PB Fit - Crystal Light Snack - SF Jello or more chicken stock Dinner - 3oz chicken - 1 cup steamed broccoli - water
  9. Just stay out of the kitchen, my friend. Not worth it!
  10. Purplediva! I'm with you, sister. The liquid diet hasn't been too bad, but the nights are terrible. The urge to snack surprised me.
  11. Congratulations! Very happy for you!
  12. I've pretty much been drinking nonstop. (Sadly no alcohol.) My surgery is the 7th. I get into the office and have all my beverages lined up -- tea, crystal light, protein shake. If I'm in the bathroom every 5 minutes, I can't kill anyone. LOL Hang in there, Stitches!
  13. If anyone has good thoughts to spare, I could use some. I'm 9 days away from surgery and have come down with a nasty cold. Went and got a strep test just to make sure it's not anything worse. I don't want anything to get in the way of my surgery.
  14. Peanut butter? My heart is so sad for you. It's a favorite of mine.
  15. That's awesome! I feel like lower sodium items can be challenging to find.
  16. Hi Isabel! My name is Beth and my sleeve is scheduled for the same day. We've got this!
  17. Hi Isabel! My name is Beth and my sleeve is scheduled for the same day. We've got this!
  18. I need to find a friend to sneak me in! Lol
  19. How's the pre-op diet going for everyone who is on it?
  20. Perfect day for it! My bike is in the shop, but I'll be out there again soon.
  21. I'm drinking the Dark Matter this morning and its it's pretty fantastic. There are lot of Chicago people here. (Myself included.) ORs be busy this month.
  22. That's good to know. I'm a few days in and feel like a slug.
  23. I had to make double the jello because now my daughter wants it.
