  1. So it sounds like I'm up next. I report tomorrow morning at 7:00 a.m. with show time at 8:30. I think I'm ready. Just bustling around the house, trying to get things in order. My daughter is sleeping over with the grandparents so she can sleep in. I started this journey in December and it felt so far away. The last two weeks sped by. I'm ready for this next chapter with my fabulous new sleeve. Wish me luck!
  2. Slaying it, Purpledva! I expect nothing less [emoji171][emoji171][emoji171]
  3. I really hope you feel better soon. Sorry to hear it's been so hard.
  4. Tomorrow is the big day for me. We'll see how much sleep I get tonight. LOL Ready for my next chapter.
  5. Healthy wishes. Congratulations!
  6. Good to know, I'm putting a spare in my bag now.
  7. So glad to hear it! Congratulations!
  8. I totally get it. My daughter can be a bit of an anxiety kid. She knows I'm having surgery, but I'm trying not to make a big deal about it. I don't want her to have my food hang ups -- so I decline treats with as little fuss as possible. She helps make my SF jello so she can be involved. She knows that this will make me healthier so we can do more. My weight had been so hard on my back and joints that I miss out on a lot. I try to emphasize that. She kind of knows it's happening on Friday. I arranged for her to go to a sleepover on Thursday night so she'll have a fun distraction. My husband will pick her up once I'm in recovery.
  9. Congratulations! I'm glad to hear you are doing so well. [emoji175]
  10. Hey Angel! I'm also a 5'6" mom to a daughter. She's 9. I'm right there with you! We can do it!
  11. That's encouraging! Wishing you continued success and fast healing.
  12. So glad to hear it! Get some rest. [emoji175]
  13. This is good news. I'm sure the popsicle and the meds will help.
  14. Holy cats! That's crazy! I'm glad you are doing well.
  15. I'm sorry you aren't feeling well. Today will be better.
  16. Lucky! I tried but my insurance no longer covers Nutrition Direct. I was bummed out, and they were too expensive without insurance.
  17. I'm going with Bariatric Choice all-in-one multivitamins. They were on "the list" and the discounts for bulk orders was good. https://www.bariatricchoice.com/bariatric-choice-chewable-bariatric-multivitamin-tropical-citrus.html I'm thinking about ordering an additional Biotin vitamin though for hair and nails but haven't decided.
  18. Heading into the home stretch on my liquid diet. Cold is on it's way out. I found this weekend to be challenging in terms of cravings. Maybe because work is more distracting. I did have a nice non-scale victory to celebrate. I purged my closet of some already too-big clothes. Very satisfying. Good luck to our friends having surgery Monday and Tuesday! I look forward to joining you on Friday.
  19. Oh no! I hope it is nothing serious. Feel better!
