Well, it's definately possible...for me I went to a seminar on feb. 27th. ...march 3rd 1st appointment with my lapband dr. march 5th...evaluation by sleep study dr. march 7th...psych. eval. march 19th sleep study march 26th sleep study results April 25th lapband approval!!! may 9th start liquid diet may 23rd...surgery scheduled!!! it seemed pretty fast to me. That's a period of 3 months. I have bcbs anthem insurance and have not had any trouble so far. I know this timeframe is not the norm as some people have to wait alot longer. I feel very blessed. But i just wanted to tell you it's possible!

today is day 1 of my liquid diet. i can have 3 slimfasts per day 1 protien shake unlimited crystal lite and sugar free jello on day 4 i can add a small garden salad in place of 1 of the slimfasts. so far today has been ok...just a slight headache. oh and i can have coffee and tea. just no sugar added.

I feel like you all are telling my story. I gave birth in 98 and about 4 years ago started trying to get pregnant again. I had trouble from the start. No ovulation. then i had a horrible period for 4 months. then no period at all...tried clomid, progesteron, hormone shots, etc. I haven't had a period since sept. 07 ....i'll be getting banded May 23, 2008 and can't wait! It's funny to say i can't wait to get my period!
