I am up walking all the time. Not outside but just trying to keep busy at home. I have never really been a TV watcher so I am getting bored. My surgeon made me take off 4 weeks so I am looking for things to keep me busy. I live in Minnesota if the weather was warmer I would spend most of my time outside.

I had surgery rny on 3/8. I also have the same issue. I figure since all I am putting in is fluids that’s all that is going to come out. I started purée today so will see if it changes any.

So sorry to hear about kidney stones. From what I’ve seen from patients in the ER where I work it’s some of the worst pain. I hope you heal quickly.

3 Days postop from bypass and feeling good. Got up this morning started a load of laundry and made my son and granddaughter Breakfast. I am still going to take it easy throughout the day but feel like I could do more.

RYGB done yesterday. Everything went well. I took a lot of naps yesterday but was able to get a couple of walks in. Dr. Just came in and said it looks as if I will get there go home this afternoon. Now if this snow storm that is supposed to hit holds off.

Protein Pudding
1 packet instant sugar-free pudding mix 2 scoops unflavored Protein Powder 2 cups Fairlife Fat-Free Milk
Blend ingredients together then chill.
Enjoy!

I couldn't taste the Isopure Protein powder, it tastes like regular pudding and is easier for me to consume than Protein Shakes. I wouldn't use flavored protein powder because it would make it too sweet. You can use regular milk (not Fairlife) but it will have a bit less protein, the pudding will not set with soy milk. You can freeze this in molds to make pudding pops.

Only 1 week left. Saw the dietician and surgeon today and was surprised when they didn’t put me on any type of a preop diet. Just said nothing after 8 pm the night before.

I am scheduled for bypass on 3/8. I am wondering after 6 weeks are you able to drink Water faster than right after surgery? I am not able to stop and drink every 15 minuets to be sure I get my water in. I am hoping that by 6 weeks postop I can drink more at one time so I will not have to drink as often. I know everyone is different. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
