  1. I’ve been good wanting a tuna melt for the longest time and keep forgetting to make one. Thanks for the reminder lol
  2. Yes and yes! Both places were amazing! I don’t have food like this where I live so I had to take advantage
  3. Back to the cooking. Made grilled swordfish and salad with the only veggies I had in the fridge for today’s lunch. Don’t mind the bite I took on the before pic lol
  4. It was my first time having it and WOW delicious! It was one of the best dinners and dining experiences I’ve ever had. If you start making it I’d love to see! I’ll be researching recipes soon. There was an eggplant salad we had that I can’t stop thinking about lol
  5. Went to Philly for 4 days with my bf and had some amazing food! I didnt log or watch what I was eating. I ended up having foods I haven’t had in a year like pasta and white bread. I went there already decided that I was going to eat freely and I’m glad I did because it made me realize how much I’ve changed habit wise and how much I love my meal routine and logging my food. It just makes me feel good. Would I go on vaca and eat like this again? No. But no regrets this time. And I walked so much that I didn’t gain weight lol Here are some of the dishes I had. My favorite hands down was the Moroccan meal we had the first day. Forgot to take pics of a roast pork sandwich, Philly cheesesteak, macaroni and cheese, wonton soup, and a beef kabob wrap.
  6. Made dubu kimchi. I became addicted to that dish I bought from my local Korean restaurant and I knew I was going to end up broke if I didn’t learn how to make it lol Made it with chicken breast instead of pork
  7. So I basically followed this video for both but I didn’t put as much cheese and for the cauliflower crust I used half the amount of mozzarella cheese and about 2 ounces of goat cheese instead. The key is to dry the heck out of the veggies. I also used frozen veggies instead of fresh since it’s easier to drain out the water. Unlike the video, after I threw the veggies in the food processor I squeeze the water out with a cloth.
  8. I took advantage of my pizza craving and attempted to make broccoli and cauliflower crust pizza. I topped the broccoli with Alfredo sauce, spinach, onions, feta, bacon and tomatoes. For the cauliflower I topped it with red sauce, pepperoni, ham, onions, mushrooms, and bell peppers. Results: both were delicious! Didn’t make me miss regular pizza crust at all, and tbh I think I actually like these better! They both held together nicely, didn’t flop over and the broccoli had more of a bread like consistency. I can’t see myself making this a lot just because I’m still in weight loss mode but it was a nice way to get rid of the craving!
  9. This has been my meal for the past week, ground chicken lettuce wraps with bell peppers, onions, jalapeños and topped with avocado, hemp seeds and chia seeds.
  10. Also didn’t feel like cooking this past weekend so ordered from the same Korean place two days in a row because it was that good. Pics include Korean meatballs, steamed tofu and pork, and beef bulgogi wraps.
  11. Burrito bowl with two homemade sauces made with green and red tomatoes. This has been my meal everyday this week.
  12. YES, YES, and YES!!!!!!!! #cevichefanatic
  13. Same here! I saw a video where they used ground chicken for the crust instead. I definitely need to try this, along with broccoli crust pizza!
  14. Here you go ladies, I ended up combining a bunch of recipes I read online into one. I’ve also attached a video of what it should look like in between basting. It still wasn’t quite done at that point. IMG_6913.MOV
  15. My take on Peking duck, except I couldn’t get my hands on duck so I made Peking roast chicken. This is the bfs plate. Ate just the baby bok choy and chicken.
  16. Yesterday I went out for Korean bbq but sadly forgot to take pics I had about 3 ounces of meat and a big pile of kimchi. I didn’t do too well in regards to eating enough because that was all I ate the entire day. For today my bf and I went to our usual Salvadorean spot. I order the grilled pork chop and steak skewer. Didn’t really make a dent either as you can see. I also had two bites of the pupusa on the right.
  17. Made air fryer fish tacos in honor of taco Tuesday yesterday. Topped them off with cabbage, pico de gallo, avocado, cotija cheese and a spicy jalapeño cilantro cream. I just ate the inside.
  18. Thank you!! It was professionally done ☺️☺️☺️ The idea came from Pinterest!
  19. Yes, it’s net carbs. Pretty high as well but it is oatmeal. This has been my go to on days where I am skipping meals. My nutritionist and I are working on my carbphobia ? Hence this meal and the recent avocado toast I posted. Not sure if it’s the carbs or what but I was in a longgggg stall and it finally broke.
  20. And highly addicting! I can honestly eat this everyday, it was sooo good lol But very high in calories. The only thing I forgot to log was the frozen berries.
  21. Went out for lunch today and ordered the steak tip salad. Here’s my before and after. I barely touched it at the restaurant because I ended up eating one of my bfs potato skins and I got full quick ? I ended up finishing the salad at home, it was my only meal for the day. Plus a pineapple matcha latte with almond milk!
  22. Great idea! I need to try this! Yum ?
