I’m glad to hear your swallow test came back great and you are starting to cope with your new normal. It’s not easy and I know that. I couldn’t find too many people to relate to who took long to recover so I can understand you feeling in the dark and fed up. Hopefully now you are able to keep something down, no matter what it is. Everyone’s body reacts differently. Try to find something you can tolerate and stick with it. For me it was watermelon for 3 months... why? Idk. It was the only thing that I was able to keep down and kept me hydrated. Good luck and keep remembering that eventually you will see a light at the end of the tunnel. ❤️
  3. Thank you! They are also super low in cals . I’m excited lol I saw online that they sell them at Whole Foods. Fingers crossed they are in stock ? You know what, I could probably just turn these into a cabbage salad. Thanks for the idea!
  4. Thanks! I’m definitely going to try those lo lol psylli wraps! 20 cals each is amazing. The lowest cal tortilla I found was 30 cals each but my grocery store was out of stock. you have a lot of amazing recipes! Can’t wait to try more
  5. Made shrimp tacos. Will be eating this all week minus the tortillas. This was the first time since surgery that I ate one whole tortilla and omg I’m ridiculously full! Thinking of using romaine lettuce instead but I’m not sure if it’s going to taste weird because of the cabbage.... which will make it all crunchy ? besides lettuce, does anyone have a good tortilla replacement?
  6. Swordfish again but this time I made it with a white wine and caper sauce. I remembered the after pic
  7. Never tried it but I’d love to know how it comes out!
  8. Dinner last night was swordfish with a roasted tomato and basil sauce and salad
  9. Omg all these dishes look soooo good!! I want them all!

Girl, I feel you! I went through hell and back after I had surgery. My recovery was awful. I couldn't drink water, I would throw up after I tried a protein shake, and i wasn't keeping anything else down. I ended up getting super dehydrated and I had to get IV fluids. I instantly felt regret and kept asking myself why the hell I did it in the first place. It took me 3 months to recover and feel somewhat normal. Do I regret my decision now? No, not at all. I would go through it all over again. Just hang in there and listen to your body and know it will go away soon and you will be back to normal.
  11. I can very much relate to this. I usually crave dishes i grew up with, or chicken wings lol Idk why but chicken wings are comfort food for me. Im not a fan of stuffing but I would gobble up that turkey easy! Looks delicious!
  12. Before and after pics of seco a la nortena with navy beans aka cilantro stew. Last pic is my bfs plate. You can see what the food is much better from his plate since mines is a sloppy mess like usual.
  13. Melt chocolate of your choice and dip! For toppings I used walnuts, shredded coconut and mini chocolate chips Good luck!
  14. And more strawberries ? Sorry guys... this is what I do when I can’t sleep and on quarantine. Made them for coworkers.
  15. Homemade chocolate covered strawberry with melted fat free whip cream. This has been my go to when I’m craving something extra sweet. One usually does the job ? Sorry, I was eager to take a bite then remembered the pic lol
  16. Turkey sausage tostada... finished it all
  17. Grilled chicken chorellana with two homemade hot sauces
  18. Chicken Kabsa for dinner. This is bfs plate, mines is just salad and the chicken but it looked like a sloppy mess ??‍♀️
  19. This looks bomb! What did you season your turkey with ?
