  5. Anybody on here used the cpap machine before surgery and have crazy gas in the morning... I tend to burp a lot and fart a lot some days.. Other days nothing.. My question is have you been on the machine before surgery and did you use it after surgery.. I don't want to use it after if it's gonna create more gas inside my pouch and then have complications afterwards... Most likely I will follow my Drs orders and see what he says...
  6. Thanks for your advice... I have been doing the treadmill every day.. 1st day only 3 minutes before a pause.. 2nd day 5 minutes before a pause... 3rd day 7 minutes before a pause... I do 10 minutes at the beginning and 5 minutes after my work out....

  13. Sometimes our bodies retain water and other times our bodies go into starvation mode if you clink the link... or copy and paste you will know what I mean https://www.healthline.com/nutrition/starvation-mode#section1
  14. It seems that the doctor wants to help you out in getting in an ealry date because .. they already know how long it takes to get the approval... Imagine if they didn't schedule till you got approved... 1 to 3 weeks for the approval.. then to see if the Dr is available for surgery.. now you have to wait 2 to 3 months for him to be available.... I got scheduled the day after my insurance said ok but that's because my insurance approved 3 days later.. I choose 8-2-19 because I wanna enjoy summer with out restrictions and I don't wanna get too dehydrated during the hottest June/July months of the year..Goodluck and stay positive
  15. Usually the class meets once a month... you weight in and then go about the class.. you come back a month later and weigh in again... it's about 5 classes for sure because the last month you meet up with your Dr. And discuss how the classes went and to see any of your weight progress... they are only an insight to the whole journey after the classes do your homework.. get your stuff in order create a routine and stick with it because aftervtje surgery it's a lifestyle adterwards..
  16. Just bought this one in costco.. not as good as the powder... sticking to the powder from now on...
  17. Are you doing the milky protein shake or the sports drink kind.. Because there is a good one from isopure let me send you a picture.. it's 21 bucks on Amazon's 16 servings and 20grms of protein per serving.
  18. Dr Higa is awasome... only thing is he is busy with surgeries sometimes at least that is what they said.. My seminar was in Feb 2018 and my first appointment was in April 19 2018.. It took me a little over a year to do all the requirements but because I had to see other specialist for my sleep apnea.. and I finished my last prerequisite on April 3rd they submitted to my insurance on the 24th of April and I got approved last monday... I choose the operation date of 8-2-19.. but the had am open appointment may 2nd that they could of done my sleeve
  19. Same here I didn't shout it from the roof tops.. I did tell my mom and siblings about it when I first started the process with my doctor and wife.. I just told my employees at work 2 months ago and they have been nothing but positive.. all in all 15 family members know and my work crew

  21. Anybody have their procedure done in Fresno california.. Fresno heart and surgical hospital to be exact.....
  22. So the reason I choose 8-2-19 Was because I'm an out doors kinda guy.. I love my fishing and taking dips in the lake.. my son turns 2 in April and I want to enjoy his day.. If I do it early I feel like I would get dehydrated with this central California heat and get to miss out on a lot of fishing and swimming with my little one
