I'm finally at the hospital being admitted. My nerves hadn't kicked in until now. Surgery is in about an hour and half and the nerves are kicking it with a pinch of anxiety. Trying to stay objective but this is my first major surgery.

Thank you everyone for your kind words!! All went well. I've been in and out of sleep. The worst pain is from the gas and the "bigger" incision. I expected the pain level to be way higher than it is. The binder adds more pressure to the wounds but it definitely helps with the burping and occasionally cough
