  2. You are beautiful inside and out, and love love love all you post. You are very encouraging and such an inspiration.
  3. #3 Learn something new. The hubs and I are planning to take a sailing class because we want to retire and live on a boat in the tropics.
  4. No complications whatsoever! Best decision ever. Had my surgery on a Monday and was back at work on that Thursday! I was up and walking immediately and even used no pain meds. I actually questioned my surgeon the first follow up if he actually did do the surgery.
  5. Day 2: I'm not much of a journal type. But I used to write daily bullets on a calendar when my son was young, but I don't even do that anymore. He's 19 and my daughter is 8. So yeh, I just suck.... :(
  6. ok.. I will do MUCH better this month! Starting weight: 174.0 Goal: 5 pounds, and get my hiney exercising again. Surgery: 12/10/18 - SW 234 1. Proud of my family - they are my biggest supporters

  10. I'm in need! I've bailed on the February as we were traveling a lot, but I'm here now!
  11. 12/10/18 here as well. Looks like you are right on track. I've lost about the same amount as you so far.
  12. A burpee is an AWFUL exercise move that blast the air right out of you! Just to do 5-10 will feel like death! (really good for you) Stand up, arms up, jump down into a plank, do a pushup, jump back up and jump, rinse, and repeat.
  13. ME TOO! Sorry I have totally slacked, with proposals due and catching up. I will try and catch up. I'm a shoe wh*re, so I must add my shoes to this when I get home.
  14. SWEET!!!!!!! I'm glad he's there now and knows how brave you really really are. The pain will subside. I'm told I can take ibuprofen as well, just make sure I have the probiotics with it so it doesn't make an ulcer. The pain will go away once you start moving and that gas leaves.
  15. WEll, I'm not that far out, BUT I do eat red meat, and I buy the protein ice cream, and tortilla's/bread. I also chew gum. I do drink vodka and crystal light, but I can't handle the taste and texture of beer anymore or soda's, so I stay away from those.
  16. I've been good so far, no junk! I keep waiting on my chocolate covered strawberries, but they keep selling out before I can get some (blessing in disguise?). Spin class this morning, first one ever. I will not be able to walk tomorrow, or even later today. #6 My husband (pictured left) makes me smile because he's funny, witty, and very supportive. He's been stepping up with our 8-year-old while I'm trying to get my hiney to the gym and he'll do anything I ask.
  17. HW: 234 Surgery date: 12/10/18 - 224 Feb. 1st - 190.2 Challenge: Plank and Jumprope and no junk food. Only fear is valentines which I love the HUGE chocolate covered strawberries. I would like to lose about 10 pounds this month. My selfie:
  18. Proud of you regardless. You made this decision for you, and only you! You seem strong, and can manage. When the weight starts falling off, your confidence will be sky high and you will be on a high. Thinking of you!
  19. How's it going since your surgery is next week?
  20. Count me in! I've slacked on the Jan challenge, but ready for Feb!!
  21. Of course, and it's working! Fellow Ag?
  22. WOW Steve! Huge difference already!
