Soft Stage Question
Truth is you can eat anything. All you have to do is chew on it to a soft consistency. But do you really want to do that? [emoji16] We have a new baby. We have to keep the baby healthy.[emoji4] I was told no bread/high carbs for a year. Am i waiting for that year to come?..nope! Im 5 months post op still learning to eat healthy and focused on no bread at all, no rice, no tortillas, no crackers ect. Id rather fill my pouch with chicken, fish, veggies, salads, protein ect.. I hope you find this helpful. Be very careful and selective on everything you intake. [emoji4]

4 days and counting
Pics of some things i bought before my surgery. I did buy baby cup, plate, spoon and fork. 5 ounce disposible cups with lids. Everyone is different but i had to make my own sugar free jello and soups. The ones i bought i didnt like after surgery. I bought a big container to put all my things in, for easy reach and so that no one grabs my stuff at home..lol (family) I did a lot of research on what I can eat after surgery. Don't buy too much but few things that you think you can tolerate. Hope this helps. Wish you all the luck![emoji4]

Mouth Noises
OMG! I thought I was the only one with this problem. I was also getting irritated with my coworkers during lunch cause of chewing noises. If im done eating i could hear their chewing. Ugh! I feel anger..i feel my blood boil..it really scares me.I dont know why!? At home with my family before surgery I would tell them to eat then I would sit by myself to eat or I would eat at the same time, like a race and make sure I ate at the same pace so that I don't hear them chew. It's terrible, frustrates me. Now I have the excuse that because I had surgery I always eat at my own little table with my own food, at work I eat in my office not in the lounge anymore. So it has helped. But when this happens I have to remind myself that I'm the one with this problem before I tell anybody off because i have told people things then regret it. [emoji57] [emoji16]

Insurance RANT
That is so unfortunate!! I personally work in a doctor's office and I know the process, So from my side I made sure everything was pushed but that office did really great. It all has to do with the organization of that office. I did 6 months of preparation. But the staff at the doctor's office guided me with Appointments/ everything I needed to do to complete Insurance requirements. On my apt day i had completed everything and they told me they were going to submit everything to the insurance, and that it would take a few weeks for it to get approved. I really thought maybe something was going to come up that I had to either re do or something New and it would probably take longer, you never know with insurance. Luckily the person in charge in the doctors office called me the next day and said it was a miracle that she submitted everything that evening of my apt and they approved the next morning. I was so very happy and excited and very pleased the way the office handled everything in my case. I have same insurance. Sadly, you might need to keep calling them and pushing them since you have gotten this far to have everything ready on your end. Don't get discouraged and I wish you all the luck don't give up![emoji4]
