  6. There's numerous cases of bad lap bands and why surgeons don't do them anymore. Why would you put something artificial in your body? A foreign object? There's two amazing procedures now with so many good stories out there. Sleeve VSG or RNY BYPASS are the main 2.. I started with BMI 43 I'll be having bypass in 20 days cannot wait! *don't give people false hope either* Lap band is simply out dated obsolete technology! Like why use 3g when theirs 4g and 5g out there

  16. I cannot believe I'm so close after over 12 months of research and waiting for my insurance to mature I'm finally at the last leg of this race. 3 weeks today (Monday in Australia) I've been through so much mentally recently and I'm proud of how far I've come. I decided to start my own diet 6 weeks ago and I'm down now 46lbs. I'm so excited to start the next leg of my journey and begin the next chapter of my life. I'm looking at 80-90lbs to get below the 200lbs goal and hopefully end up around 185-195!! Thank you all for your support and kind words. (I've already had to buy some new clothes and feeling a little more confident every week) MIKEY
  17. I'm not sure what it would be like in a foreign country hospital. Just keep focused on the future and the positives. I'm going to surgery on 28th in Australia I live. I got insurance but still have to pay out of Pocket.. Only traveling around 300 (460km) miles round trip for surgery which is far enough for me
