  2. That's not so bad..small price to pay have you tried any creams to help with healing or cleaning up the scars once you are able?
  3. I have noticed my butt is overall smaller & not as firm but I'm a male so it's okay and it's also early days for me anyway
  4. Yeah the surgeon offered the sleeve but I stood firm on my choice and he didn't say NO.. they usually do work with you unless they are not confident on the bypass? My surgeon is one of the best in the country he even goes overseas to teach other surgeons
  5. Not December but October 28 been waiting a year though.. Can't wait for RNY
  6. Very informative but here In Australia we don't have so many options unless maybe I should try Costco? I'll be having my bypass 2 weeks Monday!
  7. That's okay I'm just trying to figure out for myself whether I'll be out of it for the day or just a few hours as id like to get walking sooner than later when I go in...
  8. Seems like you're going well I'm curious did you wake up quickly after surgery or still drowsy from anaesthetic
  9. Embrace your new skinny body of course it will be a shock to some ppl who are used to seeing you overweight... There's always compromise in life so you're healthy and skinny but you've lost some curves...
  10. You just had surgery I thought you'd be liquids only for the first few weeks.. Take it easy. Don't rush it.
  11. Yeah I just decided one day no more bad foods.. Gave all the bad foods away.. Now everything in my house is high protein.low carbs. Healthy calories. Drink plenty of water everyday. Sleep 8 hours a day. I'm saving so much money on my food bills every week stocked up on 99c tuna cans! You can't eat junk if it's not there that's rule number 1. But yes you need some help to figure everything out before you do some damage..
  12. Hope all is well just thought I'd make a new post and see if people would like to add some of their stats like at 3,6,9,12 months after having the full RNY BYPASS? I'm getting very close 17 days to go.. Just getting anxious and really hoping the BYPASS does everything I hope it should..... I hope I get the restriction of the pouch I hope my metabolism changes for the better I hope my weight loss continues and doesn't slow down anytime soon I hope I get off my meds for diabetes, hbp, cholesterol ASAP And I hope this tool will ensure my success and long term goals Its getting very real now ppls Mike
  13. Ask your surgeon/doctor mine has told me he prefers I get someone else to drive
  14. I've been on my own preop diet no more than 1000 calories a day and losing very consistently unless I go too low so I try to keep between 800-1000 most days I assume after surgery the calorie intake will be much less due to new pouch and I guess the new "plumbing" changes the way your metabolism works I've done well So far 50lbs down IN 6 weeks I hope to continue losing steadily after surgery RNY!!
  15. Drag him through court and make sure he pays for every day he's missed! Judges just hate men who don't pay support!!!
  16. Do you know what exactly is causing the anxiety
  17. That's great 30lbs in 30 days
  18. Carbs is what causes hunger I myself eat very low carbs and high protein everyday and rarely feel hunger but soon as I eat anything even fruit I feel a little hunger... I've been on low carbs under 20gs a day pretty consistently and losing well... But every person is different..
  19. **sorry for the double post my phone is playing up** Getting so excited just got 50lbs lost and coming into the final days to surgery 18 days to go cannot wait it's been a long road.. Hope everyone who has had surgery so far is going well. I'll be going into hospital 10/28 at 11am I think surgery will be after lunch sometime Getting excited maybe a little anxious but hopefully no complications from the RNY. 50lbs gone 80-90 to my end goal
