  3. Would love some BTDT success stories. I had a successful VSG 2.5 years ago and initially lost 70lbs. Sadly with the pandemic I have regained 25-30 lbs. I am crushed. I think my pouch is still small as I cannot eat large amounts of food but I’m afraid I’m addicted to sugar. Anyone able to get back on track after weight gain. ☹️

  6. Cross post OMG please help! I had a VSG 18 months ago and successfully lost about 80lbs. When the pandemic hit my anxiety went through the roof and I have gained back 30lbs. I still feel full after small servings but it’s SUGAR that is doing me in. Oddly I can easily eat a pint of ice cream in a sitting but cannot eat more than half a serving of “regular food”. Have I killed my sleeve? Do I need a second surgery. I’m so embarrassed to call my surgeon

  9. So you don’t think I killed my sleeve!!! I m clearly addicted to the sugar and I totally get what you’re saying about the ice cream just disappearing in my stomach. I want to get back on track but I miss the days of low gherilin and not having any cravings. Thank you for your encouragement

  11. Help! I had a VSG a year ago and quickly lost 70lbs. This summer I totally fell off the wagon and started eating a TON of sugar. I still can’t consume a large volume of food but for some reason I can Hoover sugar without issue. I would still like to lose another 30-40lbs and I just need help getting back on track. Anyone BTDT

  21. I’m going to abstain it was passing craziness!
  22. So I’m back after all my tales of woe today I have to bring my kids to a Halloween party. Interestingly I have ZERO interest in candy or any other treats so yay for that! I know alcohol is discouraged post op is it because people have a higher likelihood of becoming alcoholics? Would one glass of wine be disastrous? I don’t drink often but the stress of everything is making a glass of wine very appealing...
  23. Ok well this is going to take up a big part of my day ?
  24. OMG the smell of protein shake makes me gag! I’m going to get back to pounding water because I am probably in the verge of being g dehydrated. Thank you!
