How far post op are you? I just posted a question because I’m 9 months out and having massive stomach pain - just came on suddenly. I was thinking maybe an ulcer but who knows! :(

I’m about 9 months post VSG surgery and I just started getting massive sharp pain in my stomach. It came on quite suddenly and hurts whether I’m standing, sitting or lying down. Any idea what this could be? Has this happened to anyone else? Prior to today I had been doing and feeling great! Thanks for reading!!

My surgeon’s office has a “closet” - really more like a room - where you can drop off your big clothes and take clothes in your new size - for free! I think every office should consider doing this!

I went 3 months post VSG surgery. I made smart food choices - based around protein. I DID drink - but only no carb drinks. I drank vodka with grape Crystal Light that I brought from home - mixed with bottled water. Plus I was in the pool all day so burning more calories than ever. I lost 3 lbs that week!! Good luck - relax - and ENJOY!! 👍

My surgeon told me the only OTC pain reliever I could take is Tylenol (for life)!

My doctor keeps all her patients on it for 6 months post-op but I’m sure all doctors are different.

This absolutely happened to me! I was stalled for 3 weeks - then lost 10 lbs in one week. Don’t stress - your weight loss will start again! I know it’s easy for me to say but at the time I was freaked out too!

I occasionally have vodka and I mix it with grape Crystal Light. It’s really good - and no sugar! I order vodka and water (not soda water) and bring little Crystal Light packages with me to mix in. Good luck!!

I gained weight in the hospital too! You will lose it - and MUCH more. Don’t worry!!

I had my sleeve surgery on 10/10/18. The first couple of days sucked (nausea and vomiting) but never really had pain. I never took 1 pain pill once I got home (though I did stay 2 nights due to vomiting). Some people get bad gas pains but they go away with walking. I feel a MILLION times better and more energetic that before the surgery. Good luck and “try” to relax!! 👍
