Same problem here

Had surgery Wed,yesterday pretty rough,better today I think except got bad headache. Nausea not as bad, trying hard with liquids today. Am very tired but slept very little in hospital. Walked a lot trying to get rid of gas. Dr. Hanna and North Vista treated me like a queen. Encouraged my husband to stay,brought him meals,had a bed for him by mine. I could not have been treated better. Sent me home with samples,get well card signed by my nurses and bear to hold while coughing. Hospital said they would call and check on me today.

By this time tomorrow all will be over and will be on the losers bench,and wanting to go home I am sure.

Is this normal? Should I expect

Had Pre op at North Vista hospital today. Nicest group of people. Greeted as I walked in door,escorted us by member of team that preps you for surgery. Surgery on Wed. Calmed me down. Not as nervous. Surgeon has 5 of us that day,guess I will have company!

Any loss a victory slow or fast. It’s theright direction and if you feel good and happy with journey that’s all that counts

Is there sugar in v8 fusion. I have v8 but was told not to drink. Kinda disappointed because I do like it. My surgeon said watered down shakes 2nd day but think it depends on each individual and surgeon. Guess I will wait and see how sick am feeling.

Tomorrow final tests at hospital. Surgery the 16th. Excited to start journey but nervous also. Not a spring chicken anymore. When did everyone start vitamins? How often did you drink. Set timer?

Maybe B12? Just rest when you can and take care of yourself. You got this!

Wow that’s close. Just got my surgery date yesterday . See surgeon the 8th. On 2 shakes a day and 1 meal till then. How long were you required to do all liquid diet? Humana makes me stay overnite. I go to North Vista. I had a friend that had your Dr and she raves about her care. Sounds like your in good hands. Keep me posted. Saw on my orders surgeon uses tap block (shot in abdomen) for pain. Have heard horror stories from some here but my Dr says not the norm. Highly recommended surgery.

I am 67 and scheduled to have surgery on Jan 16. Anyone else over 65 having surgery in Jan? Been thinking about this for awhile and think I am ready for change for good in this weight struggle.
