Even if there was - if 97% of people can't stick to it, it's worth nothing.
The diet that is perfect for you is the one that gets you both the results you want and that you can stick with without having to white knuckle it, even if life throws you a few curve balls. Same with exercise programs.
"Oh, I have found the diet and exercise program that works for me!" - great job, if it still works after several years of being on it and life threw you a few curve balls.

โ€œNormalsโ€ fine for me. Iโ€™ll go with the advice of my doctor but thanks for your comments. The way things are going I may end of losing more anyway.

My disclaimer for anyone pre op or new to Bariatric Eating. Stay on your plan and learn how to eat and fuel your body. Yes, Dieticians plans work.
I have great recipes with riced cauliflower. (I have a stuffing recipe just in time for thanksgiving)
Many reasons for dieticians instructions not working (no judgment for anyone struggling with theses issues) Complications, medical issues, medications, wrong type of surgery, hormones, pregnancy, Grazing -eating above macros and calories.
Dietitians may change to a new eating plan due to the reasons above. Some choose an eating plan on their own.

Not sure what you mean by language? I didnโ€™t say I looked Ill, but if I got to my recommend bmi then I felt i would look ill! At 63 I would look silly trying to look like a model! Why are you picking on me?

I chose my initial goal as the high end of normal BMI; then I got down to my weight in college when I was an NCAA athlete; and now Iโ€™m at the low end of normal BMI but am not worried about it as my labs are great, I feel wonderful, and my docs arenโ€™t concerned.
Iโ€™m only 19 months post-gastric bypass so thereโ€™s room for bounce back and still be within normal BMI range. My horrible joint issues, especially knee pain, is sooooo much better at a lower weight that I donโ€™t want to regain too much as that could lead to less mobility and early total knee replacement (bilaterally).

There was a story a while back in Oz about a guy that had a lot of weight to lose. He decided to go on a potato diet. Was that healthy or unhealthy? Do you think he lost or gained?

I have done lasers at the dermatologist's office (stronger lasers) and have been doing my lip, chin and jaw line. I have been going for almost a year and am still fighting Hair growth. I was told my hair follicles are very deep so it will take longer. I am also an ideal candidate - fair skin, very dark hair. Oh, lasers do not work on hair that has already turned white. Those babies I will be plucking forever.

I have one word for you: LASERS! Better than electrolysis, way more effective! I did it about 8 years ago and within 4 treatments everything was GONE. I go back about once a year to do a touch-up cycle, and it is absolutely worth it. I was so thrilled that I also lasered my legs; my leg hair was so thick and coarse that even when I shaved it, you could see the stubble through the top layers of skin like ground pepper sprinkled on my shins, but I haven't even touched up on it in years and I have maybe four hairs that come in very thin.
I'm in the same maybe-PCOS boat as you are, with all the symptoms except the actual damn cysts. When I finally snapped and started the lasers it was because I wasn't just irritated by shaving, I was getting a ridiculous number of ingrown hairs no matter what I did. And though I really hate to say it: I think my facial hair's come back a little stronger than it used to post-op. But maybe that's just my body temporarily freaking out, I don't know! And I'm going to zap it back into oblivion soon.
One caveat: laser works best on dark hair and light skin. As a Translucent-American with very dark hair, this made me pretty much the ideal candidate; I can't say if Irish redheads or dark-haired Kenyans would have the same luck. For them, electrolysis might be the better bet. I know some groups don't mention that up front, so buyer beware.

I lay in bed and can feel my ribs, in fact they are sticking out! But my bim is still not normal. If I lose more I will look Ill. Iโ€™m 63, happy with where I am, bought long length boots today, not extra wide and can cross my legs, go to the gym and run with my grandkids so Iโ€™m happy. Iโ€™m in the uk so have the nhs (though I did pay for my sleeve) and so I donโ€™t have to go the medical insures to plead for treatment.

Yes! I would like a foot tattoo of a molting snake to commemorate my adventure. I have an inspiration photo from google that is somewhat loosely similar to what I would like the artist to design - particularly the intertwining and the white, lacy molted skin. But I'd like a much more colorful snake and obviously the size and shape of the two snakes would have to be fit to the top of my foot. I really prefer to let the artist take over as much as possible, I feel my pieces are truly unique and a sort of bond of trust between me and the artist. I know most people are way too a-n-a-l (sorry, trying to avoid filters haha) and want to control what it looks like which I totally understand, cause it's going to be on your body forever, after all! But anyway, yes, I definitely want a tattoo in honor of this huge life change.

I liked your post because I like carbs. But eating too many carbs, "bad" carbs, calories, sugar, fried food, ethnic food, etc. got me to the point where I hopped under the knife Monday.
I think the research and trends on diets go in cycles and obviously different things work for different people. Weight loss research is particularly hard to parse because entities like food and drug companies fund a lot of the research.
In the 80s many dieters were on low fat diets. Fat was a dirty word and we ate carbs, did aerobics, and some lost weight.
Now some of my friends are doing Keto and some are doing high Protein.
I've been told there may still be small amounts of tortellini in my healthy future. And I'm happy about that.

I also eat a different diet. Carb Loading with distance running. No one is jealous of my diet why would they be of yours? The difference is I feel no need to preach my diet or disrespect other people or their diet plan.
Is it jealousy or calling you out on your behavior? Let the viewers decide.

I think people get confused by good carbs and bad carbs. Nothing you listed above seems unhealthy to me.

My drs advice after surgery was that as long as I get in 60 grams of Protein there was no restrictions on my diet.

Healthy carbs are good and Fiber is good too. Without it I get very stopped up
