You guys have seen the skirt when I tried it on. I coupled it with an obi belt today and I think it works pretty well?

What a great picture. I love the white pants and white shoes. And DAMN, your wife’s outfit is gorgeous. Shoes, dress, the whole thing.

    Lol. They are pretty cute!

I love this picture of you. And it’s not just because it looks like everything fits. Your expression, etc. is great. And so is the outfit!

I wore a new dress today. And, umm, should have ordered a medium. AND my favorite cardigan is now pretty loose on me. I am going to see if I can hunt out the exact same sweater on Poshmark But in a medium or (gasp) a smallThe dress still works okay a bit big. I am not used to having legs show. Skirts of that length have never been part of my wardrobe. When I looked in the mirror this morning, I thought the length was perfectly work appropriate and that leggings weren’t necessary. Ummm, yeah, it WAS fine until I sat down and crossed my legs without thinking ? I’m not used to being able to cross my legs either. Thankfully I didn’t have a ton of meetings today. I did get lots of compliments on it, so maybe I just need to learn how to sit without flashing the world.

I am not shocked at this turn of events. HOWEVER, I would like a closer picture of your shoes. They look super cool.

I’m going into work today, our new term starts tomorrow. I am not keen on my pouch of belly skin/flesh, but I’m trying to not let it dictate my wardrobe choices, you know? I’m DONE hiding behind loose clothes and long tops.

Thanks! Posting here has been so helpful in dealing with the inevitable body dysmorphia that can come with rapid weight loss.
  9. I will NEVER go back! Best thing ever.
  10. Oh, that’s wonderful! Congrats, GreenTealael!
  11. What an awesome looking group of reasons! Congrats!
  12. My periods are shorter than they were. They seem less messy, too, but I switched to a diva cup around then, so that could be why.

Thanks! I’ve been losing again as well. I’m 15 lbs away from my goal, which is mind boggling.

Ok, I went a teeny bit punky edge today. My husband says I look really cute. His taste cracks me up.

Heading out on a few errands, including through the wildlife refuge to see the migratory bird action. These tall boots continue to be one of my favorite purchases. I almost cried when I walked out with them. Me? Able to wear high boots straight off the shelf?!

I LOVE this outfit! And congrats on the NSV!

Ummm, of me in my jammies at 9pm? ?

I’m still enjoying this cheapy moto jacket. I’m going into the office for a couple hours this morning, to see the state of things. So no need to look super-professional.

Agreed! There are some serious extra inches at the waistband. If it’s a favorite of yours, it might be worth having tailored. It should be fairly easy and inexpensive.
  22. This is all true. I would suggest going to a running store, where they can analyze your gait and recommend shoes based on your particular needs. What works for me may not work for you. I have separate trail runners, road runners, walkers, and backpacking shoes. Each has their own wear pattern because I strike differently in each activity. This all seems very excessive, but as someone who used to suffer from plantar fasciitis before I figured out what works for me, I can say it’s made all the difference in the world.

    Psssst: it’s cashmere...

I’m in my Christmas sweater. It’s very cozy (BACK OFF, @GreenTealael!). I think maybe I should’ve gotten a medium instead of a large, though. But that felt really strange to do. I know you guys will get it. This skirt is a wrap skirt I got 30 lbs ago. The waist band has snaps all around it, and it’s proven to be GREAT for weightloss longevity.
  25. I like Altras for running. I’ve found that minimals work best for me. If you go that route, mind the building up period necessary to get used to that level of drop.
