  1. Tandoori chicken and basmati rice! 4.5 ounce chicken, 2.5 ounce rice.
  2. Yes, thankfully. I'm so sad because big beautiful salads have always been my go-to meal and favourite. That's what I craved the most after surgery. But about 5 min. Into eating one-saliva, stomach cramps, bam. Throw up. So so sad. I'm ok with lettuce wraps, weirdly. And like baby iceberg salads, but those have no flavour or nutritional value
  3. We're glad you're back! And I will have to just love your salads visually since they make me sick
  4. I enjoy this lunchbox. Where's it from?
  5. Hashbrown crust quiche, carrot cake from scratch, cheesy potatoes, ham, and roasted veggies were the docket today. And lots of candy from the Easter Bunny
  6. Dinner tonight is a mix of snacks, trying to eat up a gigantic Costco tub of hummus. Carrots, salsa, hummus, string cheese, Turkey pepperoni and tortilla chips. Breakfast this morning was a gluten-free breakfast sandwich from a local bakery with ham, bacon, cheddar, garlic herb cream cheese, tomato, onion and egg. Ate half and saved other for later. Dessert later: zucchini banana bread with peanut butter and chocolate chips. I eat it all over about 45 min.
  7. I eat the mini street corn tortillas all the time!
  8. Have you been. Checked flr.a sterite allergy? It's the binder in most pills. I had the same thing, found out I have an allergy, switched to ones without it
  9. Heads up that you may still want salad but your body might not. Before surgery I LOVED salad, and dreamed of the day i could eat it again. Every time I've had it since (18 months out. Big/small, dressing or none etc) I throw up. I can handle romaine leaves in a lettuce wrap with extra meat and have to break an unwich into 2 meals
  10. Sending prayers for their health, mental wellbeing and grounded decisions xoxo
  11. My parents are similar, my mom is working from home and my dad is retired....being at home all day with him is driving her crazy haha
  12. I'm a teacher, I am STRUGGLING. My school is title I so lots of poverty and broken homes, knowing they need connection but overwhelmed with trying to onboard everything about my classroom online ( I teach middle and high school music). I have over 200 kids, so I don't know the best way to reach all of them. I'm also immunocompromised but have gone for a run (which I hate haha) every day to just get a break
  13. I haven't named my stomach but I'm 18 months post op, still gurgly
  14. I have my meals prepped and laid out, stocked up (minimally) on basics. I don't feel well so I've been forcing calories in and self quarantined as much as possible while rapidly making online lesson plans and trying to deal with the shitshow that is work currently
  15. Ya'll. I miss eating salads. I loved them pre surgery. Like last meal loved. But my stomach hates it. Tonight I had a small salad, went down ok. Immediately threw it up. [emoji24][emoji24][emoji24][emoji24]
  16. One street taco, chicken and barbacoa. $3 no leftovers
  17. I normally hate waffles and pancakes but finally tried these and they're pretty good! Pumpkin spice gluten-free protein waffles!
  18. [emoji122][emoji122][emoji122] Especially the conforming to others! This was a hard one to learn after a lot of years forcing myself to just go along with everything.
  19. You went to the Cheesecake Factory and didn't get cheesecake!?!?!?!?! Who ARE you?! [emoji12]
  20. Dinner! Street tacos, before/after. $7.50
  21. I don't understand...is this just chunks of fried fat? I am not cultured [emoji23]
  22. I'm so.proud. of how empty my freezer and pantry are, I knew you'd be proud of me [emoji23]
  23. I had/have so much stuff in my freezer I challenged myself to a no buy January, with the exception of fresh fruits/veggies and eggs. So far it's been 6 weeks, still going strong!
