Just finished my preop... that really made it real! Surgery on the 13th!!!!

Has anyone lost friends, relationships, family members because of the surgery? An acquaintance keeps telling me my friend base will change after the surgery... I’m so bothered by this, I have amazing friends and family that are so supportive.

Starting the preop today! Some of us on here are having surgery this week!!! I’m so excited for all the ones having it on the 1st!!!! We are here cheering you on as you’re leading the way for the month. ?

@tmonroe- I’m so sorry you have not had the wonderful experience that most people experience from the surgery. Hopefully it will get better for you as time goes on.

I’m so happy to hear you are starting this process too! I also started walking, drinking water and cut out all caffeine. I sure hope I start to love these premiere drinks more than I do right now.. it’s a process?! For some reason, I’m. It scared at all for the surgery.. but I’m terrified I will not lose or gain a few months after.. like waking up in cold sweats over it.. I’ve never done this before.. anyone else struggling with some aspect of the surgery?

Has anyone been told their out of pocket cost with insurance?!? I thought I had a good idea.. but as the phone calls are coming in now, I’m pleasantly surprised!

Holy moly... I just looked at the calendar... most of us are 4-6 weeks away from surgery!! This is super exciting!

Hi Calah.. I’m in The Woodlands too! Who is your doctor? Aetna took 4 days to get my approval back!

Put table salt on them.. as soon as you notice them.. stings for a minute and gone by the end of the day!
