  2. Hi all!! I’m happy to share that the November VSG page is closer/private!!! Please join us! It’s a small group!
  3. We have all been quiet! Hope everyone is doing well!
  4. This is awesome news!!! I’m so excited and happy for you!! Keep up the great work!!!
  5. Unfortunately... no... I cannot change the setting for 28 days. Well.. 25 now. I have it set on my calendar. I’ll let you all know when it’s updated.
  6. I completely understand and will let you know as soon as I close the group!
  7. Okay.. I made the page public for now.. I’ll “close” the group in a few days. But you can find it by typing: “November 2018 VSG” NOT THE VSG’er page!! ??‍♀️??‍♀️
  8. Maybe if you comment on the post, I can add you that way?
  9. If anyone else knows how to do this.. please take over.. I’m not sure how to invite you to the page now? I’m old!
  10. Oh man.. it looks like I made the wrong type of page... it’s a business page.. I’ll work on it now!
  11. Hi all. I created a Facebook page for us if anyone would like to join it.. I feel like so much seems to get lost in this page. I’m hoping we can stay in contact for a long time and plan that trip to the amusement park in a year! Please click the link below to join it! https://m.facebook.com/vsg2018
  12. Oh man! I completely understand this! I’m so scared to try nuts, raw veggies and rice.. I hope to be a little more adventurous this week- I have been spending way too much time on YouTube and instagram finding what others at ay this point.. I still cannot eat chicken or eggs.. such a bummer for sure!
  13. I actually bought these on amazon! They are a little pricey, but great for my purse, car and desk at work if I need a quick snack. My 16 yr old daughter loves them, too!
  14. Also.. right now is the perfect time to hit up the clearance racks.. lots of pants, sweats, leggings, and sweaters on sale for 60-75% off.
  15. Also- maybe do a side by side photo to keep you motivated. My daughter took a candid picture of me and it really keeps me moving forward as I was finally able to see how much I have actually lost!
  16. That’s the spirit, darlin’! It’s not a “fast” process per say... but look at the weekly loss vs. the daily loss! How far out are you? How much have you lost lost Surgery?
  17. @dreamsofasleeve- I also weigh everyday. But, I’m okay if I do not lose for 2-3 days as long as I stay with in a pound. After the 3rd day I have added more water, extra protein meal, or more movement. I’m losing about 2-3 pounds a week right now. However, if the scale is making you “crazy” I would let your husband hide it for you until the “day” you want to weigh. You’re doing great and stay the course!
  18. Hi all- I just wanted to share this live saving find.. I hope it can help some of you that cannot stomach the though of a protein shake..
  19. I do have issues with chicken and all types of lunch meat.. it’s super random, but manageable, too. I have lost a total of 53 pounds! 31 since surgery.
  20. I’m finally out of the plus size side of Maurice’s!!!! What a cool feeling!
  21. I’m so excited! I have officially lost 50 pounds!!! 30 since surgery 11/13. I’m still frustrated with eating some days, but this sure helps me look past it and know that I’m on the right path! How is everyone else doing with your weight loss this far? Any new non scale victories?
  22. Oh man! I love love love reading all these updates! It sounds like we are all moving on the right direction and making great progress! ?
