  1. Says shake well and best served chill on the side of them
  2. Lol. Yeah, its wonderful. Also heads up that I find the coconut flavor to be more muscus-y than the other flavors. Not sure why this is.
  3. Try shaking them a little more aggressively before drinking it. I find it helps it mix in more. Also drinking it ice cold helps.
  4. Not a problem. I waited about a month before smoking again. Hot and cold compresses for the pain? How long will you be staying in the hospital? Personally I didnt really need the pain meds once I left the hospital. They sent me home with liquid hydrocodone and I wound up tossing it (addiction runs in family).
  5. Most common experience is pain . It hurts when you take a sip that is too large. Some people also experience throwing up if they drink too much.
  6. Probably not a good idea to smoke right after surgery. Being under anesthesia really messes with your lungs, that's why they give spirometer thing to breathe into. I think that smoking right after surgery will greatly increase your risk for pneumonia.
  7. I use it! I think it is great. I just wish their food database was more updated. I'm constantly having to put in new things because it cannot be found within their database which is a pain. I also find that their barcode scan thing malfunctions a lot.
  8. With all that said, I'm not 2 months out and most days I can take all my pills without a problem. It took a lot of trial and error though
  9. I'm sorry to hear that your mom is struggling. Tell her to remember that it does get better. I had a tough time taking my antidepressants after surgery also. I wasnt cleared to take pills and the liquid antidepressants tasted so bad they made me gag. I wound up surviving a month without taking them (not recommended). However, when I told my pharmacist about it. She said they can add flavors to the meds to make them more tolerable if you ask
  10. Hmm I have everything but the sugar substitue. I'll have to buy some
  11. So today I was sitting around proctoring while my students took an exam, naturally it was very quiet EXCEPT for my stomach that was making loud inhuman noises randomly throughout the whole session. I kept hoping no one would hear them because we are in a good sized lecture hall or that if anyone could hear them that they would just think I was very hungry and not that I had to go to the bathroom or anything lol Anyone have a similar experience or want to share the self-humality with a story of their own?
  12. I didn't have solid movements until well into the soft food phase. Everyone is different though.
  13. Premier protein, Isopure and Unjury are the best in my opinion
  14. It also seems that people who have lap band experience it also
  15. I think it's a bypass thing. I personally have never experienced it as a sleever but have read about it on here multiple times. Not sure about the science behind it but it has something to do with your new anatomy being upset because you ate something you couldn't tolerate or ate too fast. I'm sure there are some bypassers around who can explain it better.
  16. Congrats on being "just obese"! Sounds silly but its definitely an accomplishment to move over that line. Here's to being "just" overweight next! I'm sorry your NUT is incompetent. Have you tried asking her about recipes and what not? I find my NUT to be pretty useless also. She just goes over what is written in the packet that my office gave us. I've actually been to 4 nutritionist at different points in my life and have never found any of them to be all that helpful.
  17. Can definitely see the difference in your face!
  18. Looking great! Very cute pics btw
  19. Looking like two totally different people! Great job!
