  1. Very few people know. About 4 people. My mother doesn’t even know.
  2. I am 21lbs from ONEderland. SW:291 CW:220 GW:150-165-ish
  3. I got sleeved Aug 2nd. I’m down 41 lbs since surgery and 61lbs from my starting weight before surgery. I plan on doing a 5 day pouch reset for the new year. I’ve had a few plateaus and I haven’t been great about the gym. But I’m almost out of the 200s. Haven’t been under 200 in almost 10 years
  4. I’m actually on my second stall. I’m down 50lbs in three months so I knew this would happen. Still bummed but working through it
  5. My first stall happened week three as well. It lasted for three whole weeks. I was so frustrated. But then like magic I dropped another 10lbs. Now I’m in another stall. As far as weight gain it might just be water retention. Especially if you sticking to the program. We don’t eat enough for real weight gain.
  6. My next milestone is 220 as well
  7. I feel mine always. Like if I eat anything more than the equivalent of a half of banana I start to feel it
  8. My first milestone was an eyeshadow palette. My second was a spa day. I’m working towards my third which is a pair of boots I’ve been eyeing from Aldo
  9. Omg the first time I really pooped I almost died. I was full on crying because I was in so much pain. I have since then started drinking smooth move tea twice a week and black coffee everyday. I also drink kombucha. Not a fan of MoM or other non-natural laxatives
  10. I am the same way. I get so bored so quickly. And idk what’s wrong with these men out here that think Netflix and chilling is a date
  11. I finally broke through 250 after a three week stall. I started doing keto and going to the gym 3 times a week. My workout: 20 minute Cardio (I try to do at least a mile) Dynamic Stretches (bear crawls, frog jumps, inch worm) Strength training (squats, lunges and all arm exercises are weighted.) Another 20 minutes are cardio (my second mile) Stretch and go home My workout is never the same. Maybe download the Nike fit app great workouts for all levels on there.
  12. I did my recovery with no pain meds. The first few days I could sleep I bed because I would roll on my stomach and it caused pain. But within a week I was pretty mobile. It just felt like I had done an intense ab workout
  13. I’m at a new job so no one knew me before surgery. But ppl who did know me before I say I’m doing keto, which I really am
  14. You are at the dreaded 3 week stall. It took a month for me to start losing again and it’s slow. However the inches on my waist and my body fat are dropping. I was lying too much attention to the scale. Now I weigh once a week. Try to stay motivated I hope it gets better for you.
  15. I tried soda and I couldn’t drink it. I’ve just been doing tea and water.
  16. 26. Teacher. Artist. Healer. Gemini. No kids. Looking for the love of my life.
  17. Heyyy my fellow NYC DOE teachers!!! How was everyone’s first day? Mine was pretty good. I’m at a new school thank god. With a very supportive admin. Still stressed about the one day prep instead of the usual two days.
  18. I ordered the RENPHO Bluetooth Body Fat Scale from Amazon, $28! The app is fantastic and it's so cool to see all the stats pop up on your phone while you're on the scale. Highly recommend! Thank you ordering now
  19. I’ve lost a total of 40lbs including pre op. Which I am very proud of but I’m currently fluctuating between 254-256
  20. My surgery was 8/2 and I’ve hit a stall as well
  21. Yeah the evaluation system is terrible. I was rated developing last year and my principal didn’t know what to say because he knew that I was deserving of a better rating but I never received feedback. Just happy to be going to a new school. I was and have always been a force to be reckoned with so my admin knew not to try anything with me. And I’d say what was in my mind in the most professional way possible. I had surgery on the second so I’ll be a month in by the time school starts.
  22. I gained 40+ lbs at my previous school. I was so depressed I stopped getting on the scale.
  23. I think food prepping will be our saving grace. I’m really bad at food prep so that’s something I’ll really have to work on.
