  1. I recently responded to another thread about protein so I'm just going to cut and paste: I highly recommend a tasteless powder by "Genepro: next generation protein powder." The scoop is much smaller and you get a full 30 grams of protein. Plus it's less calories than most: 60 calories. I even put a scoop in my Water, for real. I taste a hint of it but it is a clean, very mild taste. Add it to your broth if you're drinking that." Good luck!!!
  2. And you ARE beautiful! Xoxo, you will be grumpy and thirsty and achy...but you will be home soon! Many prayers your way!
  3. It's really counterproductive but I used to thing I wasn't getting my money's worth unless restaurants served huge portions or unlimited bread, etc. Cheap fast food in large quantities too. But here's what really confuses me: some skinny lady can sit next to me at McDonald's and have the same thing as I used to order: a huge supersized value meal, a pie, and a shake, and stay slim. I swear I will never understand.
  4. This may be bad advice...but I ate the oikos zero yogurt, sugar free jello, sugar free popsicles, and fell in love with fat free cottage cheese! Weird, I know, but it tasted amazing and went down easy. Hang in there!!! I'm 2 weeks post OP...we will have real food eventually, just less of it! [emoji3]
  5. 90% of my hunger is "head hunger." I'm 2 weeks post OP and rarely feel true hunger (the stomach growling, aching hunger, the way hunger is SUPPOSED to feel when it is real). As far as protein, I'm getting plenty!!! I highly recommend a tasteless powder by "Genepro: next generation protein powder." The scoop is much smaller and you get a full 30 grams of protein. Plus it's less calories than most: 60 calories. I even put a scoop in my water, for real. I taste a hint of it but it is a clean, very mild taste. Add it to your broth if you're drinking that. You might try that. Powdered skim milk, peanut butter powder. Oikos zero Greek yogurt. All good options!
  6. Hi all. I am exactly 2 weeks post OP! Starting weight: 301 Day of surgery: 295 Today I am 277!!! I lost 18 pounds In 2 weeks!?!? Anybody know if this is normal or slow or fast? Lol. 9. Wow!!! Are you nervous or excited? Or both?
  10. Okay...so I have surgery in the morning. Been on totally clear for 2 days, and, um, it comes right back out the other end liquid...every time I drink or even have a popsicle! Is this normal??
  11. That's commendable. I only had to do 5 full and 2 clear.
  12. Surgery twins, LVB! I'm soooooo hungry today, lol. Are you on clear liquids too?
  13. Thanks, Hopping[emoji4]
