  11. You're right Carla B. I wouldn't skip anything from the required supplements. I will check with my surgeon's office and my regular doc. I will let you know what they say. Thanks for your answer!

  13. I love your screen name. My favorite so far.
  14. I saw a bariatric multi on amazon that is a pill, only once daily. Anyone try it? Will my body absorb all the minerals in one dose? Trying to save money on supplements!!!
  15. They should. Here's why: the cost of treating a malnourished, sick person is far greater than multivitamins.
  16. I tried those. It's crazy but my insurance will be a $600 copay for the direct mail from the drug manufacturer but would only charge me $60 if I go through their mailing service. But, if I go with that, I dont get the vitamins with the nasal spray. Boo!
  17. Hi there! Has anyone had any luck with their insurance paying for vitamins or supplements after surgery?

  20. I'm open to getting help for my emotional food issues. But how? Where?
  21. And... please tell me this: where do I even begin in working with my past issues with food?
  22. Yes, they gave me the go-ahead to exercise after 2 weeks. I'm wondering if this was a bad idea? If I'm getting 500-600 calories a day and then burning 250 of them by treadmilling and incumbent bicycling, is this why im starvin marvin?
  23. I am sooo with you Meg. I dont think the folks who say they're "just not hungry" or "force themselves to eat" realize I dont have head hunger! It's a real emptiness in my tummy that calls to me... feed me, I'm hungry. Accompanied by physical growls!!!!! I cant imagine not being hungry...I hoped the surgery would deliver the fullness in my tummy. It has not. Grrr. I wish others would be more understanding sometimes. I'm sorry you're struggling, but you are NOT alone.
  24. I'm a month post op. I have started going to the gym. Could this be why I am ravenously hungry? My pouch holds way more than 4 oz comfortably. Taking 30 mins to eat 4 ounces? No way! That's impossible to fathom. Hungry=eat. I'm really freaking struggling here. I've lost the high of the pain meds. Lost the high of food which is my only true best friend I have ever had. I wanna get high!! Or get full from yummy food!! SOMETHING. I'm losing it.
