I just talked to the Drs office that the ER referred me to. I guess I don't get any kind of help. $404.00 for the initial consult and that is if I bring the x-rays and MRI from the ER. Then $50.00 a month after that unless they do more e-rays and stuff! His words needs to be dripping in gold for that amount!

Thanks Lulu. That is what I am doing now. I am waiting to hear back from the SS office to see if I could maybe get temporary disability assistance. I have a list of churches to call. Unfortunately like my church they refer you to other churches that they partner with. You can only call them on certain days between certain hrs. Usually a 2 hr block. Just heard back from SS...NOPE! left message with local welfare office. But usually they don't help you unless you have children at home and that is $124.00 a month. The system here stinks big time.

So I didn't report it. If I tried now I would have a hard time proving it happened at work. My sister said to try to draw temporary disability through the state. There is a clinic that is based on your income. I am going to sign up with them. They might be able to help. Plus any meds they prescribe I can get right there at a big discount. You know it sad when Benedryl works better than the pain meds the doc prescribed! Even the shot they gave me in the hospital didn't work well. They asked me about my pain level about 30 min. after they gave me the shot and when I told then it was a high 7 low eight they just shook thier head. Usually Hydrocodn works fine for me. But it isn't hardly taking the edge off. The reason I slept Tuesday night was because of the Benedryl. I have been up for hrs. tonight. But part is nerves also.

Ebony, I pray things go better for you with your job. Hopefully you will get one of the other jobs asap! I just got back from the ER. I need 2 surgeries. I have a ruptured disk with bone fragments adhering to it. That is what is causing my pain and my arm to go numb. The second is more important since I am a cancer survivor,they found a large knot on my thyroid. They said it looks non-cancerous, but I heard that before and had cancer. But without a job and insurance I'm up the proverbial creek without a paddle.

Morning all. congrats MS I am having some problems. Nothing new I know. Quick synopsis. I have been working for a temp agency in school cafeterias. Sporadic at best, but still work. The last day I worked I must have done something to my back. The following morning I got up and my back was killing me. At first I thought I slept wrong, then I thought no I was doing a lot of heavy lifting by myself at the school the day before. Fast forward 2 weeks. Lots of pain, hardly able to sleep. I woke up this morning (after taking Benedryl for allergies) could barely shower and dress. Right arm keeps going numb. Going to the ER after bank opens up so I can pull my last few dollars. You have to pay for parking at the ER. $2.00. I don't think that is right, but oh well. I can't afford this right now. What if someone calls me for a job? I can't say I'm sorry but...I have to be job hunting, not recuperating from an injury. Everything is going to be shut off next week. I am now 4 months behind on mortgage. I NEED A JOB! It's scarring me that what if I need surgery or something? My arm going numb is really concerning me. So sorry for carring on. Just keep me in your prayers.

It has all the threads listed going clear across the page. then it has a question and it tells you to go to last question in that thread. No pictures, I can't tell the new post because of the way it is set up.

Maybe someone else will relate to this......I am 15lbs away from what I weighed when I got pregnant with my children. But yet the pictures from then I look so much thinner than now. The only thing that looks right is my old drivers license. I have an old one that was about the same wight as I am now. But 15 lbs shouldn't be that drastic of a look. This weight is the weight I remember being for much of my teen yrs and up to my mid 30s. My brain is finally catching up to the difference between before LB and what I look like now. I am seeing a thinner me. I don't know maybe it's because of the way I am losing around my body that doesn't match old pics. Oh well. I just need to stop looking at old pics! lol

I think 70 lbs is great! I personally think that you should contact her supervisor and tell them what went on. Is she the one that does all your fills? maybe you can request for someone else to do them if possible. Good luck. Keep up the good work.

I don't watch the show. I have seen clips and have heard the latest on them. Even seen (actually kinda listened) them on the Today show the other day. I think it was the Today show. Any way my personnel opinion is if you want a divorce do a family reality show. It seems that when families do reality shows they end up divorced. With the exception of the Osborns. Lets face it with them Ozzy and the kids were so high most of the time they didn't really care. :thumbup:

I have tried many different protein drinks/ mixes. I am usually hungry within 2 hrs. after drinking them. I stay fuller longer if I mix fruit in them. I usually mix frozen black cherries or blueberries (frozen or fresh) sometimes bananas. I prefer the powder so I can mix the fruit in. The reason it doesn't keep us full is because it is liquid and goes though the band easy. It doesn't sit in it to digest like solid foods. Thats why I put the fruit in it. There are a lot of things you can add that will help you. Good luck with the rest of your journey.:thumbup:

Thanks Luluc. I am not very computer literate. I can do the basics. I have my resume on line and it seems that what I hear back from is insurances wanting me to be an agent. I don't understand insurance, so I really can't see me trying to explain it to anyone else. What your friend does sounds great but I don't know the first thing about virtual job hunting.:thumbup: I can do scheduling. I have done enough of that in management. Right now I am even having trouble getting into my local employment on line. I have called and checked my password and username. I have it right, I just can't get logged on. It tells me my use name is invalid. I used it last month with no problem. GRRRRRRRR. :cursing:So I am going to bite the bullet and go to the employment office in the morning and pray it isn't raining. You have to be in line by 6 am or you will be there all day or have to go back the next day and try again.:cry_smile:
