  1. I was sleeved on 11/6 and have been able to tolerate all meat. So far I have tried chicken, pork chop, steak, ribs, turkey, ham and baked fish. In small portions of course. As a matter of fact I haven't found anything that doesn't agree with me yet. That actually scares me a little bit though.
  2. I got my approval from the insurance company in 2 days. They actually called me. I wasn't expecting that. That was just this past week and my surgery is scheduled for Nov 6. I can't imagine them taking months to let you know something. I have Aetna and they said it could take up to 15 business days but it only took two! I was so relived because it was all I could think about until I heard.
  3. Finally got my approval today, on my birthday! Surgery is Nov.6! Scared but excited!
  4. Surgery twin! Just got my official approval today from insurance and surgery is 11/6 also. I start my pre op liquid diet on Tuesday and pre op testing at the hospital on Thursday. How about you?
  5. I though a 2 week pre op diet was bad but it looks like you have 3 weeks so I guess I better count my blessings. I'm having surgery the day after you. I start mine on Tuesday. Good luck to you!
