  2. My friend who is a nurse says that water is actually much heavier than most other liquids. I used to love water before my surgery, but now I have to play all kinds of games to get it down: mixing it with half a pouch of Crystal Light, counting Clear Protein drinks as water in my daily liquid list, letting myself get thirsty before downing another 8 ounces. I see a big difference in how I feel when I have my required water, though, so my advice is to find which tricks work for you and then just keep using them!
