AllyJonesVSG got a reaction from domi in Down a size!!
Wow! I've been in a size 18 for maybe five years and yesterday I bought a pair of size 16 Levis "for when I need them" and came home and tried them on just for fun and they FIT GREAT! It makes the unpleasantness of that first week hurt a little bit less. I know it's a shallow thing to Celebrate, but it feels like real progress and just the first step. Now I'm looking forward to buying a pair of size 14s in a few weeks "for when I need them."
The Iron in the Vitamins still makes me so sick I want to throw up or pass out, though. I need to change vitamins.

My doctor said goal of 165, but I'm 5'11" and I'm thinking 170 would be just fine. It's my best adult weight (150) + 10 extra lbs for each child I had.

Hi, I had my surgery on 5/11...Sugar Free popsicles are my best friend and for some reason helped with headaches. Youll be ok. Hang in there...

If you don’t want to mess with the machine, my doctor recommended barilife complete Multivitamin in powder form. I got watermelon and mix in a scoop of unflavored Protein Powder. 8-10oz Water and a few ice cubes. Good stuff

    5’6” started at 271.

I never set an ultimate goal. First goal was under 200. Next was less than my husband. Then was lowest adult weight (155).

If anything I had a size goal which was that I would be over the moon to get to single digits (8).

I blew by it all and became a muscular and toned 135/size 4 at almost exactly one year out.

I can proudly say that I now fit into size 36 pants.
Before my sleeve surgery in November 2016 I wore size 60.
I am beyond ecstatic. Down 240 pounds so far.....

I feel your pain Ally I was thinking the same thing, like what have I done to myself. However I’m trying my best to keep the one day at a time mentality and hope it serves me well.

It's great but after surgery I hated the taste. Going to start using it again this upcoming month. It's 48$ for the women's complete bariatric. It don't taste bad it was just my taste buds being off the wall after surgery and the thought of more liquid I couldn't handle.

I've had mine for about 5 months and I have to say, I'm over the novelty of it. In the morning I'm usually in a hurry to get to work and about 1/3 of the time, the Tespo won't dispense the Vitamins. Sometimes just opening and closing the lid (sort of have to slam it), gets it to clear and start working but most of the time I have to take out the disc and put it back in again and then it will usually work. I clean it regularly so not sure why it does that. I tolerated the quirkiness at first but I've grown tired of it now. I think I'm going to use up the Tespo vitamins I currently have and then switch over to a regular pill...quick and easy.

Is it any good? The idea of the liquid mixture sounds better to me than capsules.

My surgery was yesterday. Today I'm back in the hotel and completely exhausted - I think 4 days now of no solid food + no caffeine is not helping! Pain isn't bad, just have to be very careful swinging my legs on and off the bed, etc. Tomorrow I go back for the barium swallow.
    Good luck, everyone!
