NYJenn got a reaction from JessLess in Binge eating-14 months after surgery
At my last post op support group, the nurse told us that a “pouch reset” does not prevent or fix stretching. Once you’ve stretched it out, that’s it...it doesn’t go back. Something to think about

NYJenn got a reaction from foodie669 in Did your surgeon want you to lose weight before you got surgery
He and my nutritionist encouraged lifestyle changes, not weight loss Per se. Obviously with the changes came weight loss, but that wasn’t the main goal

NYJenn got a reaction from Tracyringo in Anyone NOT track their calories?

NYJenn got a reaction from shanshan in Thought I wanted the sleeve, Doc recommends RNY
Both are major surgeries! It blows my mind that people still think the sleeve is the “easier” surgery. if you have any problems with Gerd then Bypass is your best option, otherwise you’ll most likely need a revision anyway

NYJenn reacted to FluffyChix in Weirdest things you are looking forward to after surgery
Wow! How cool, right? It's like reinventing yourself with a proverbial "clean" slate. Nothing that could potentially bias. Good for you!!! And wow, what a vocation! TY for all you do!
