  1. Even though I made fairly decent choices, we ate out for my birthday, mothers day and went to a findraiser dinner since my last visit. So.... yeah, I feel like a wrestler trying to make weight haha
  2. Hope everything went well today! Update us when you feel up to it!
  3. Im right there with ya only mine is in 4 days. I have been watching what i eat, drinking plenty of water and walking. They just increased my thyroid meds again last wk, so im sure thyroid levels didnt help. Just wanted to let u know that you arent struggling alone and I'm here if u need to vent. Also, if you think an accountability buddy will help, im willing to be here to check in daily till your weigh in.
  4. I wish mine gave that option. It's just straight 6 mos. I have to do one a month for 6 mos. Then I see surgeon on July 24th. They submit for approval and then once approved I'll have lab work, x rays and egd. Then two wk pre up diet and it's go time! Can't wait!
  5. Hi Jaadan, I am finishing my supervised weight loss visits in July so I hope to be having surgery either late August early sept. I can't wait to finish it all and get a date!
  6. Omg, it's so thick. Idk how it can honestly be considered a drink.
  7. That sounds much better! Thank you!
  8. Thank you. They r actually what I'm planning to try next. As far as clear, I tried isopure berry flavored and though tolerable (not even close to being as horrible as the muscle milk) I want to try other clears as well. The isopure rtd are too expensive to use solely.
  9. Yes, I too am just "sampling" to see what I will use pre op. Today's experience was Not a good one, I'll move on and try others.
  10. Congrats and good luck!
  11. I am still pre op as well, but after reading several of your posts and replies on various posts, U seem very ready! Don't let your nerves make you second guess yourself on it. I hope u have a good surgery and recovery experience. I might start creeping your posts so I can find out what u did and didn't end up needing or what you may have over/under prepped for. Since I am a few months behind, U can work out the kinks and I'll benefit...haha
  12. I have started sampling some protein here and there and just tried chocolate muscle milk today. I read really good things about it. I found it to be HORRIBLY thick amd sweet even over ice. Is this the normal consistency of the chocolate protein shakes or is it just this brand?
  13. Omg, i would be sooo mad!!!! Thats how my luck works most of the time.
  14. Congrats Sammi!
  15. Ylime, my dietition also suggested that, but I cant seem to make myself completely give up carbs yet. I have, however except on occasion, given up almost all refined carbs and have been eating "in order" without drinks to start to adapt. I will as i get closer give up the occasional treats as well. I feel like ive come a long way and am pretty confident i can continue to make the transition without much if any stress when the time comes.
  16. Congrats and good luck on a speedy recovery!
  17. Lookin good! Great job! I also love the green pants.
  18. U look great, amazing job!
