  1. You already are, look at that last pic. U are gorgeous!!!!
  2. Have you seen anyone on here from your area? I'm sure it would be appreciated as the products aren't cheap here.
  3. Omg! I have never seen peaches and cream, That sounds so good!
  4. You are beautiful, amazing and a true inspiration! I hope all of the bad is behind you and you can enjoy your hot new figure...lol
  5. I firmly believe that no matter how many books or medical journals you read, that nothing beats life experience to get real honest answers. Situations vary so much that books can't possibly provide all the scenerios we see here. To me that makes me feel more mentally prepared because "i remember someone mentioning that" you know u arent the only one dealing with a certain situation.
  6. Yay, someone else from PA!
  7. I am so glad to hear you are ok. Was worried when u hadn't been on! Continued thoughts and prayers for your recovery!
  8. I am the one who mentioned the books you are referring to,I believe. I AM preop. I have already read them. I just suggested them as items to buy when preparing for surgery if you haven't already. I also like to have as much info as I can get my hands on. My doctor, though at what is considered a center of excellence, does not give more than a few hand outs and includes links to various websites with information. As much as I would love a binder with all of HIS actual protocols on each subject, I have managed to educate myself. That being said, I feel the people here, having personally lived it may be able to give suggestions maybe not thought of as necessary. Certain things that may seem trivial to some but have an added comfort or somehow improved their experience in some way.
  9. Funny, but not funny! I am worried too because in my online notes, my weights are listed wrong and every month it says patient has been a non smoker for 2 wks. I quit at the beginning of this year!
  10. I am on month 4 of my 6 month physician directed weight loss that my insurance requires and I feel like time is moving super slow as well! I feel like I'm ready to just do it...lol I have had my initial nutrition consult, my psych eval and a m at a stand still until July 24th when my pcp appts are done and the surgeon submits for approval.
  11. Wow, amazing results! Congrats
  12. Yes, unjury brand does have a chicken soup flavor and they sell sample packets for $2 and some odd cents or a tub for like $22 I think. I've heard alot of people say it was a life saver after surgery because everything else tasted way too sweet.
  13. I think you can use Torani sugar free syrups for flavoring, but not fruit at first.
  14. I couldn't find the adult liquid at my Wal-Mart but it's in my amazon cart along with the vitamins, gas x, and laxatives...lol
  15. I don't have Costco... I want one...lol. When I first started reading your post I was like, ok... She got water. Then I'm like what the heck is she using the trash bags and stuff for after surgery...lol. In was waiting for some amazing, life changing idea u came up with using trash bags.... Sorry, it was funny when it happened (either that or I'm delirious and need sleep)
  16. I feel the same about the meats, aside from chicken turkey and tuna salad! Wasn't meant to be blended....lol
  17. Everyone I personally know says thrift stores and yard sales until you are farther along and holding sizes longer. Also there are many clothing subscription companies advertised now. I personally think it's odd, but it's an idea.
