  1. Hey everyone, I had gastric sleeve revision surgery over 6 months ago and I have lost almost 40 pounds. I still have 20 to lose to get to goal, although I am happy to finally being able to squeeze into most of my skinny clothes. As you know, revision surgery patients lose at a slower pace, but I wanted to see how I was doing compared to other revisioners! Please tell me your stats!!

  4. I'm doing okay. I have lost 40 pounds. I am a revision surgery from band to sleeve. I have had some beers and some cocktails recently and also have cheated a few times on my food plan but I ate in smaller amounts than I would have. I'd like to drop another 20 pounds but I'm fitting into a lot of my skinny clothes again so that's encouraging. I try to walk 10,000 steps five times per week.

  10. I’m feeling pretty good. I really have to plan my daily food to make sure I don’t go overboard with the carbs! I’m trying to stay under 50 carbs a day. I’m getting around 750 calories a day in. It few like a struggle to get all the water in but I manage. Many days I struggle with the motivation to get up and exercise. My goal is 10,000 steps a day and I probably hit that four days a week right now and the other days between 4000 and 8000 steps. The good news is I am down a little over 10 pounds since surgery. Just 30 more pounds to go until goal.

  12. God I pray I would not feel hunger! Congratulations on the weight loss!
  13. I had the sleeve in 2006. I had some success but learned to eat around the band and gained enough back to want revision surgery. I’m 5 weeks post op with the sleeve. I don’t feel restricted like many of the sleevers who did not have revision. There is some but not like with my band. I’m only down 8 lbs since surgery but only have 32 pounds until I reach goal so weight loss is expected to be slow. My advice to you is figure out what motivates you to stay on plan, follow the plan, get your exercise, and log EVERYTHING! Head hunger is a b***h!

  15. I’m searching for a good nutritionist in the Phoenix Arizona area. I need help and I’m not satisfied with the nutritionist at my surgeon’s office. Does anyone know of someone that they REALLY recommend?

  17. I understand feeling like a failure. I’m almost 5 weeks post op. I don’t know what happened to me yesterday but something in my mind said “today I’m not gonna worry about logging food or watching portions”. I didn’t get sick and I ate approved foods but I ate instead of drinking my water, and I drank water while I was eating. I was so depressed yesterday because I knew I was screwing up and I didn’t care enough to stop. I’m scared. Im going to pray this morning for help to get back on track. I hope you are doing okay. We should be supporting each other.
  18. I’m 33 days post op and I have same issue. I don’t know if it’s a hernia or what. I see doctor at 6 week check up so hopefully it goes away by then.

  20. The more I look into this I am beginning to think this is not gallbladder pain. I am not experiencing the horrible pain and other side effects that others have experienced. My doctor is out of the office until next Thursday so I am just going to deal with it unless pain becomes severe and then I guess I will go to the ER. I'm wondering if it it just my new stomach reacting to soft foods. I really have no idea what it is but I think most patients at 4 weeks post op have had the pain subside from their surgery.

  22. It goes away a little after lying down although it hurts if I roll over. It feels like a charley horse in my abdomen.
  23. Hi, I'm 4 weeks post op. I have been experiencing a dull pain in my upper right abdomen for a few weeks now. Of course right after surgery your incisions are tender as mine were, but for the most part they feel fine. Nothing looks infected. I am not experiencing any nausea or vomiting, no gas or bloating really. Just this dull pain that is constant. I read that 25% of gastric surgery patients deal with gallbladder issues and I can't tell if this is what I'm dealing with. I have been on soft foods now for 2 weeks. My next followup appointment is in 2 weeks. I called the doctors office to see if I need to come in prior to that but my doctor is gone until next Wednesday. I'm curious if you have dealt with gallbladder problems after surgery, and if this sounds like what is going on with me. I am eating fine. Getting in all my protein, low carb, almost zero sugar. Drinking enough fluids. So I can't understand why I am dealing with this. Anyone have any thoughts or ideas on this?
  24. I take their Chewable Calcium Citrate and between that and their multivitamin I get 14 carbs I have to count
  25. I actually enjoy the taste of my vitamins but I am curious what vitamins are you hoping to switch to once you get the okay? Do you know the carbs and calories from them?
  26. What vitamins do you take and what are the carbs and calories of them?
