❤ JANUARY 2019 CHALLENGE ❤
Eating out- There's almost always some form of grilled meat and I substitute veggies for the sides. Take home the leftovers. If I'm not headed home, I need to practice leaving the food behind. I'm still tempted to keep eating so that I won't "waste" it. Like me hauling around an extra 100 pounds somehow helped starving children in 3rd world countries.

New here! Revision patient!
You should still be able to lose weight. I mean, after all, they do revisions from sleeve to bypass when people haven't lost enough, too. But I wanted you to be aware. Better to be able to discuss this with your surgeon ahead of time. I didn't know until after and I went into a total panic over it.

New here! Revision patient!
I had a sleeve to bypass revision last October for reflux. I didn't want it either, but by 10 every morning my voice was hoarse and anything acidic or spicy burned all the way down my throat. I would wake up at night with acid in the back of my nose. I was taking the max dose of Prilosec 2x/day plus Tums as needed. My throat is nearly healed now. The main issue I'm having now is that I don't feel any restriction with the bypass. I had very tight restriction with my sleeve and I depended on it. Now I have to be much more conscious of portion sizes because my stomach won't say "No Mas!" Are you in maintenance or are you still losing weight?

Stone masons build pretty much anything out of stone. I don't know what people who do gravestones are called

Those look luscious! Did you make up the recipe or is it online somewhere? I'd love to try making them.

Good luck with your surgery. I wouldn't stock up on too much ahead of time, your tastes can change. Instead have a selection of several protein drinks (shakes and protein waters). Try to give yourself option for cold/hot as well. Sometimes one temperature goes down easier than the others, so maybe include some flavored teas or protein hot cocoa (you can get the cocoa on this site). So long as you have enough for a few days, by then you'll be able to go out to the store and stock up on what's working for you. Best wishes!

I actually know this one. In most cases, those stones were cleared off that land to allow farming. It's much cheaper to pen your livestock or enclose your crops with the raw material at hand than purchase something else. (Grandparents from the "old country")

What do you think?
I guess she'll have to do some research to counsel you!

What do you think?
Ask your NUT if this is a complete protein. I can't tell from the label. You don't want to miss any essential nutrients
-
is this a stinky gas cure/help?
Have you taken probiotics since surgery? Those might help break down your foods and, therefore, lessen gas.

I have traveled with my sister a few times, but if we have too good a time, hubby gets jealous-even though he didn't want to go!

What's a word for jealousy times infinity? Iceland, wow! We've already talked about Cambodia. Tried to talk Hubby into Egypt, he said no way, same answer for Thailand ?

3 months Post Up HELP!!!
Your weight loss is excellent. There's no problem here. You have to be realistic; you won't lose 20 lbs every month until you hit goal. Some months will be better than others.

Hello everyone
Stalls can happen at any time just keep working your plan and the scale will start to move eventually. This is a good time to track your measurements. They often go down when your weight isn't moving. Good luck!

Real food
It could have been how fast you ate, but likely you're just not ready for that stage. A lot of people can't do grilled chicken until 6 months out. It's one of the last meats you should try.
