  2. Could you add tuna to this also? Of course it sounds good on its own. Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app
  3. You have to,make yourself #1. After a life of taking care of others I've to stop and take care of me. No more Little Engine that Could running to rescue the world. I've had to learn this myself and it hasn't been easy. Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app

  9. I am switching from another program in a Center of Excellence Hospital in Columbus Ohio. Does anyone have experience with either Riverside Methodist or OSU-Wexner Medical,Center's program? How long are they start to finish? I have booked for seminars at both locations. Thank You Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app
  10. Just a tiny taste, you may find you don't want any more than that. I've heard a lot people say" I wanted it so bad, just 1 taste and I was through". Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app
  11. We had a thread a while back,of the pros and cons of chewing food and spitting it out. Consensus: Not a very good idea, but I sorta understand. Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app
  12. Cool compresses. I would say wipe them off with 90% rubbing alcohol if they are not too tender. And the next time you have a wound- even in the Emergency Department- inform them you have a sensitivity to SuperGlue type suturing. I would almost prefer old-fashioned silk or similar stitching to being so miserably sore and itchy.P.S. Have you told your surgeon's office or even your PCP about this? They may have advice I haven't thought of. Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app
  13. And although I haven't had my surgery yet my favorite flavor is strawberry kiwi and I have it packed in my duffle bag. I started a while ago putting things in when I've heard a hint I might find useful. So far I have chap stick, mio, Crystal lite GasX and Biotene in there. 14. Be kind and gentle, she's a healing birdie. Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app

  16. And if it is infected, even with anibiotics it may not heal so smoothly, may end up with a scar that's bigger or more noticeable than the fine almost invisible white lines most people are, left with. Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app
  17. Meow M-a-y-b-e!!! Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app
  18. Look around on some of the threads, there are occasional recipes, have tried the ricotta bake? It sounds like there is flavor to it, so often the beginning diets are whte, bland and pretty tasteless fare. Like the responder above said, if you only have a few teeny spoon or forkfulls before you're full you have to make them count for something. Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app
  19. A better day today, I hope it will be for everybody. Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app

  22. Have you been in touch with your neurologist? Have you been given the go-ahead for your surgery? Haven't heard from you for a week and wondered if there have been any developments? Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app
  23. Any news on your revision nikki2524? Are you feeling any better? That's strange, that nurse telling you since your body wouldn't use the calories to go ahead and eat anything. Doesn't sound like any Bariatric nurse I've ever met. Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app
  24. Well I thertainly hope not, I missed the star in the East the last time. Besides Bariatric Surgeons tend to,get bent out of shape by such proceedings. That's why they caution against pregnancy for 18 months, you have to get healthy yourself before you go incubating another generation. I know major surgery can make you erratic as all get out but most, ladies on here complain about too much, not too little. If Auntie Flo doesn't make a visit before the end of the month maybe you, need to visit the gynecologist. Best to you. Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app
  25. Raman noodle broth is High in Sodium. Might make you retain fluid and slow down your loss of weight. Yogurt, sugar free puddings and Jello, thin cream of rice or cream of wheat, cottage cheese. You might even be able to eat soft scrambled egg if you're close to the pureed, mooshy stage. How about a tiny bit of ripe banana? Just a few ideas off the top of my head.
