Do I?
Yes and that's very good but sometimes it is good to talk things through and I believe a therapist might be a good idea.[emoji13] Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app

Endoscopy findings: Polyps in Duodenum
They look scary but I'm very thankful they were benign, is it something you'll have to have routinally screened? Like every year?[emoji19] Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app

Any March 2018 Sleevers?
Well I'm a delicate gardenia flower[emoji254] and my petal bruise easily.[emoji259]Don't believe it, neither does anybody else. It is hard to believe when I'm built more like a Belgian Plowhorse . Ah but soon my inner palomino will emerge and plowhorse will be no more. Even an old Plowhorse mare can dream you know![emoji237] Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app

Opinions please
If there was a pill don't you believe most of us would, tried it before now?. There is no free lunch in life, and certainly not in Bariatrics. We work and we work hard for every little change. We were food a holics and it is hard not regress back to junky foodland. One of the armed services has the motto,I think maybe Coast Guard, Eternal Vigilance, that should be ours also. We have a watch to do the rest of our lives against poor diet. But our health is worth it and we are too![emoji6][emoji171][emoji6][emoji170] Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app

Any March 2018 Sleevers?
Is that Hibiclens? If it is, you have a sister in me, because I'm allergic also. And I had better be sure the surgeon and his team know this because I would be the same as you. Found that out when I had my last knee replacement, in February 2017.[emoji10] Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app

I noticed when I went to,my seminar that OSU goes through the usual sequence with sleevers but RnY bypasser goes from liquid to soft, no puree level for us "kangaroos"(because we have pouches). Found that rather curious.[emoji11] Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app

Last Appointment
You can do this if you stay committed, won't be easy to make it through the liquid diet but remember you're doing this for your future good health. It seems from what I have read, the people who stay compliant before have smoother surgeries and heal better. I'm convinced enough that when my time comes and it could be as close as next month, I will cross every t, dot every i.so that my,own will be smooth as silk. I already have a handicap, I am older so I may not heal as quick & have more pain. This I know going in but I still want surgery, I need this tool to help me, I can't do what I need on my own. And I want to live, no matter how many or few years I may still live.[emoji3] Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app

Any April 2018 Sleevers?!?!
Kristy you'll dance on a beach yet[emoji160]I have faith in you being a success. Sometimes I think the same way as you, my life was differently dysfunctional but there are things I wish had been changed and it's too late now. Our bruises and scars have strengthened our resolve to change what WE can, to live stronger, thinner and healthier. Take my virtual hand and we'll make it after all![emoji173][emoji172][emoji171][emoji170][emoji169][emoji13] Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app

Swollen belly
Tent like dresses, minimal wristbands so I would not go with skirts unless they have stretch waists, leggings, loose soft knit pants. Someday you'll be back in Levis,[emoji158] I just want out of Added Dimension and Just My Size and to roam no longer at Roamans and to push Bryant down a slippery farm Lane.[emoji3] Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app

Bcbs Michigan. No waiting period
That's cool that they waived that, so often you hear of additions but seldom of deletions. The bad ,well sorta bad, they think you're close enough to the last roundup that they decided not to quibble anymore. I hope my own insurance still feels like that about me.[emoji10] Maybe we can sit together on the Weight Loss Bench together someday[emoji12]. Must be a very long one because a lot of people are getting surgery in April and May. I hope it has a pillowed seat, I'm losing fat off my tushie and It hurts to sit too long![emoji20] Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app

Lucky you, after softball and basketball practice they fed us salt pills. Yucky little b*****'s,seemed like they stuck in my esophagus half way down[emoji20]Guess what positions I played? Center, power forward because when teacher or coach wasn't around we played boy rules. And considering I now have 2 knee replacements- catcher. Yep good enough I was on a traveling team, very minor league but we thought we were the greatest thing since sliced bread[emoji12] Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app

February bypass buddies?
Hey you are a cutie pie [emoji66]! I will probably look like something that cat drug in or what's left in the garbage can after the dog knocked it over. 2 weeks post op
Vary your walking if you can, go outside if your weather permits, go walk in a big box store like Target or Wal-Mart if you don't have access to a shopping mall. Always an answer[emoji173]you just have to look for it until you find one that works for you[emoji13] Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app

It will, think of it as your body regrouping and then it will jump forward into further weight loss. I think of weight loss as an old jalopy, it sputters, stops and starts and jerks along, until you get to where you are going! Keep the faith Brandi you are going to be just fine[emoji13] Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app

Only negative M-power I can see is there is a fair amount of sodium aka salt, in the brine you make pickles with. Yeah I've canned more than a few times in my life, you know. Much better than developing a late stage craving for cotton candy or Peanut Butter fudge.[emoji12]LOL Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app

Any April surgery buddies
Origin** your body is hoping you're aren't serious, that you'll relent and give it back the goodies it wants. So it's kinda sitting there hoping to wait you out, not willing to give up those lovely pounds you put there. The medical term for status quo is homeostasis, your body was happier with the weight you were at than you were. Maybe in a few days a little weight will get released, maybe not but if you are following your surgeon's guidance, not cheating in any way, things are going to be fine[emoji3] Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app
