  7. My doctor told a story about a year after my surgery. He had never lost a patient during surgery and the first person to pass was a female who decided to eat a piece of chicken during her liquid phase. Literally only a few days out of surgery. The outcome was death. Not trying to say this to scare anyone, but there is a reason we MUST do liquids only. There are many stitches inside of us that can be torn from food. And it happened to this female. She bled internally. It’s not worth it! If you must have something, please keep it simple like mash potatoes! Prayers for all!
  8. I am 8 years post op Gastric Bypass and still maintaining my 170 pound weight loss! You can succeed, it’s a life change. The first pic is me 5 days before my surgery and the second pic is during a commercial I was in for my doctors office in April 2010. I lost a lot of weight, very fast! The first 6 months most of it was gone!
