I had a leak after day 7 after surgery.....they found an infection and gave me a drain immediately and admitted me back to hospital. After 9 more days in hospital and a stent placed in my stomach to help the leak they then sent me home. Once again after a week the stent migrated into my stomach and I needed to be hospitalized to watch it move through my small intestine. It finally reached the beginning of my large intestines and was removed by a colonoscopy this past Friday. I am home again but still have a drain in my side that collects about 25ml a day. I am wondering how long these drains must stay?

I ended up wrapping myself in a binder and that helps greatly. Just don't sleep in it I just wish my second week was over already.....ugh I am losing weight rapidly, so that's good I lost 14 pounds in a week. But I cannot walk because I'm way too dizzy.

I don't understand how you could have been fed in hospital? Protein shakes? I was sleeved 1 week ago and I'm on only clear liquids, no yogurt, and only 6 ounces of protein shake a day that's about half a small container. Water, chicken broth, ice pops, that's it

I was done on 3/27 But they also had to dig out a 7 year old lap band that had twisted.....ugh. I feel some relief today it's been 1 week, can't wait till next week!

How long after sleeve does it take for swelling in stomach to go down. It's been 4 days since my sleeve?

I had surgery on Tuesday 3/27 I could not go back to work, I'm very weak and dizzy. They removed my lap band and did sleeve. I stayed in hospital till thursday afternoon. I don't feel good at all. I dont like any of the sugar free popsicles. I would like to have a popsicle with sugar......is that possible

Would it be really bad if I had one with sugar? The sugar free make me have a headache

March 27, for me......very nervous. I have a lap band that twisted and can't wait to get it out, I only lost 35 pounds with it I've had it 7 years. Ugh I look forward to loosing more weight and getting off sugar and high blood pressure meds. I hope I can do this.....it's really helping me to read through all these.....thank you all.
