  1. Great [emoji68]I'm very glad to meet and will look forward to further updates on your story[emoji12] Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app
  2. Hey stupid question [emoji10]bothering me. I'm sure they give the excised stomachs to pathology so they can check and make sure there was no cancer or other bad dudes lurking in there, but then do they use them for anything else or just incinerate them? [emoji823]Just quizzical, you know.[emoji10] Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app
  3. Who would have thought we would be ooh aahing over a small tube of Baritrack Vitamins? I'll tell you ,my friends, we have lowered ourselves to Weight Loss porn, you show me your Vitamin and I'll show you mine![emoji13][emoji106][emoji13] Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app

  6. My former verdompt bariatric center routinely booked out 6 weeks to the Day of prerequirements being completed. The new one since I'm comng in with the different consults already done, 3 weeks? I want the absolute soonest they will give me. Have that 2 hour appointment with the in-house and I hope decent Psychologist Dr Kramer April 25th, after that the ball is in their court as long as they play nicely. If not I'll play The Band Perry's song "Done." If you don't know the lyrics, one of my favorite lines Mama said I should always play nice But she didn't know you when she gave that advice. I'm through with you lah dee dah! I get a whole lot braver (and maybe foolhardy) when I am pissed, which I am at the bait-and- switch or hurry -up-and- wait tactics with all these bariatric personages. Give me some satisfaction, I've worked hard enough to get it![emoji13][emoji50][emoji13] Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app
  7. Every day every way you're going to get better, this I believe. Reading all your stories I am still filled with hope for my own. Even the pain sorrow and ultimate triumphs, I want and someday shall share. Fight the good fight, be a beacon for me along the pathway and maybe next month I'll be there joining you on the walk forward toward fitness and health.[emoji13] Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app
  8. I'm thinking you're really shrinking! Couldn't happen to a nicer guy, you look similar to my metal image of you, but I'm excited to see as your shell cracks more the true and improved Mattymatt inside, the cute will shine forth increasingly each and every day. I'm anxious to have mine so people will see the beautiful butterfly me inside. This morning I feel positive it can be done, it is happening for you and I believe it will for me also. Thank you for your good example and friendship[emoji13] Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app
  9. Stay glamorous, stay cool, your body has been through a lot in a couple hours. Practice the 3 good things, sip, walk and [emoji2], life will start to be new and improved once the tenderness dissipates. Way to,go,Ms Glamgirl!![emoji106] Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app

  11. Many different varieties of lettuce and salad greens. The subtle flavors of each make for a fabulous salad. Beats plain old watery iceberg all hollow.I love watercress in mine when I can find some. Gives a peppery pick me up. Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app
  12. Words on old sign Don't tie yourself up in "nots". don't worry about things not being right. You have done things properly, have the courage of your convictions. Stop worring, start smiling kick back a little and relax. Tensing yourself up serves no useful purpose, sadness only brings wrinkles and indigestion. Rechewing your words, nope start beleving in you, each thing on the requirment list prepares you for your future surgery and you will, in the fullness of time have it occur. 13. And if you don't have a mind , it don't matter. Very old punch line from comedy routine.[emoji3] Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app
  14. Macpower you can always talk to me. Don't feel you can't join in, I have been on BP maybe 4.5-5 months, in all that time I have met up with only 1 person who resented my insertion into conversations. She, I'm sorry to say, was a real piece of work, oh I'm nice enough to wish her well but our virtual paths have not intersected again. She spoke of me in what I felt a disparaging manner, she may live her life as she wishes, but I hope our paths do not touch. Most people are very kind on here, if they sense you are a. Newbie that will try to help if they can. We all come in with different life experiences, some problems I found answers for in the outside world, to help someone I tap into those as well as what I've learned here on Bariatric Pal. I usually admit,if I've got a wrong slant on things but I tend to be usually right. Most people will not resent you, if they do it's their problem, not yours. If I misspell,it's not so much a lack of education as 2 other things, 1 my smartphone is too smart, it enjoys auto correcting and 60% it skews things so they make no sense 2 I think faster than i text, my mind is always bouncing forward while my fingers lag behind. Makes for strange reading at times. Hey stay easy ,stay breezy and don't sweat the small stuff.[emoji6] Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app
