    June 2017 RNY

Hi Junernys. There has to be a few people here who had RNY in June. I wanted to have a thread where we could all check in. How are you all doing? My weight loss has slowed to a crawl. I need to go back to two shakes a day. I don't get enough protein. I am also exhausted when I get home from work. I can't wait for the high energy to come. 6. Please keep the post up. I had surgery on June 27. I have no problem getting all my fluids in. I was starting to think it was a problem that I wasn't experiencing what others were posting. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using BariatricPal mobile app
  7. I was told to walk walk walk. How many steps a day should I aim for? My sheet just says walk four times a day. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using BariatricPal mobile app

    June 27th sleever...nervous!

I had Gastric Bypass on June 27 I drink 1 oz of water every 15 min. I've added in 1 oz shots of protein shakes. I had 1 oz of Cream of Wheat and 1 oz Sugar Free Pudding for breakfast . My pain is minimal and mostly caused by gas. I walked 1500 steps this morning and another 1500 before lunch. I am wondering why I am not experiencing the same things everyone else. I'm not complaining. It just worries me that maybe my surgery didn't work. Is their anyone else having little to no issues with fluids going down? 9. I had Gastric Bypass on June 27. I don't have any problems getting fluids down. My Dr has me drink one oz of water every fifteen minutes. I look forward to the 1oz of cream of wheat and pudding. I don't think I get hungry it's probably head hunger. I am adding more 1 oz protein shake shots today. My pain is mostly from gas. I hope my surgery worked. It's weird that I am not experiencing what everyone else is. Is anyone else getting their fluids down no problem? Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using BariatricPal mobile app

  14. I was fascinated with Dr Matthew weiner videos. That is the first time I've heard a doctor talk about a set point. Although... I've always thought my body had one. I've seen it change over the years. I can see when I started a new med it changed etc. Anyways I have his book and am going to try to implement some of the changes he suggests. He says that our set point resets as soon as we have surgery. I am looking forward to that. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using BariatricPal mobile app

    Ugh....6 months?!?!

I am on month 4 of 6, but technically it is 7 months as my insurance requires 180 days. The time has gone by so fast. I've lost weight and joined a gym. I am trying to get stronger so when it's time for surgery I will be ready. Also the more weight I lose now, the less I will have to lose after surgery.
