  1. 336Mike and Rainbow Warrior, I am so proud to know you both. You have gone to sleek silvery fish from whales, I can use the term, because I still have my blubber layer but,it will start melting soon and I'll become a flexible fish also. It won't be easy but it will be so so good. Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app
  2. Krista honey,i feel for you-with lupus you're caught between a rock and a hard place, My PCP just loves to prescribe steroids, told him once they should be called steer-roids because I'm getting as fat as a market steer and he's a contributory factor in my porkie-osity. I. [emoji307] you, with a double chin anyway, but, know that's not why you embarked,on,a weight, loss journey Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app

  4. Will be thinking of you on your surgery day. May you be blessed with a smooth surgical journey and increased good health.I'm in the Midwestern USA, in a city almost exact-center of the state of Ohio. If you ever want a friend look for me and all my postings.
  5. Shame there isn't a bariatric buffet for us. You,could be issued a disposable teeny, tiny spoon, small plate with curved sides, a tablespoon, and a 1/4 cup measure. I'd call it Babe's Bariteria. Babes cause sometimes in the journey we feel like sitting down and crying. Bariteria well why not for what it is. We could even have protein clears and shakes in a big bowl,of ice for the early inductees and,pre surgs. What do all you think? Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app
  6. Sounds tasty but, remember tomatoes are acidic, your teeny tiny tummy might rebel. Don't say you weren't warned!!! Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app
  7. Fluffy I became a shower-kid after I got stuck in the tub and it didn't want to turn loose of me. Screamed for Tomkitten to put the bathmat on the side, after I made sure he left hooved my,legs over the edge and pried myself out. Oh the embarrassment of Beached Whalehood! Yes and I had bruise skid-marks on the outside of both thighs. So you could say I was forcibly converted to shower-hood.[emoji8][emoji8][emoji8][emoji25] Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app

  23. Creek Imp this hits home. I haven't too many, baripals but my l a te husband the Somewhat Lamented chose to die of kidney disease 5 1/2 years ago. Never told me or the kids of the diagnosis. Didn't know for certain until I went through his paperwork after he died. Lab reports, letter from his doctor etc. Wouldn't you have thought he would have shared this with me? We had been, married 44 years. What makes it even sadder, I naturally have 3 kidneys. If I hadn't been a match something could have, been worked out with OSU, they do chain kidney transplants, if you're not a match you still donate a kidney which is given to your match and another kidney is found for your loved one. I could have helped him change his diet to a kidney sparing one. There is still latent, resentment,in my [emoji173] that he didn't care enough to share the news with me. Like you said these are also raw truths. Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app

  25. Fluffy Chix my life is still, complex and getting complexer (is that even a word?). As I told, you yesterday call from a girl named Trisha at the surgeon's office saying, everything had cleared and I was scheduled for February 15th. Called back to set up a time to go to Columbus for,my presurgical blood work. Woman #2 I don't see you on the surgery list. When i,told her that Trisha had called -hmm I'm not so sure about, that. Hung up the phone and bawled for 5'-10 minutes. Yesterday was also Social Security Day, although i,WAS feeling broken and down I thought a change of scenery might help ,so i left the house with Tomkitten. When I got back home a couple or 3 hours later there was a message from presurgical testing asking that i call them back please. So I tried and they had left early. Turned out they leave at 4 on Friday although they're there until 7pm Monday-Thursday. Now i will stew and fret all weekend until I can call them Monday, morning at 7am. I will set my alarm Sunday, might so I'm up bright and early. Yeah I was gonna lay in a supply of Premier or maybe Muscle milk. My surgeon doesn't require it but I thought. I'd replace one of my meals and see if I couldn't lose some more weight pre surg. Am I having it still in February ??only GOD knows and he hasn't sent me a word of knowledge. Puddycat could yowl her little lungs out. Pray, light candles, call a TV evangelist, I'm marshalling all my forces for good. I WANT THIS SURGERY! Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app
