Breakfast: 1 premix or powder Protein Shake. (Must have less than 2g of sugar per serving) muscle milk light is one I like, I think you can find it where you are.
    Snack: 1/2 Protein shake
Lunch: full protein shake and 2cups vegetables (cooked or raw)
    Snack: 1/2 protein shake
Dinner: full protein shake and 2cups vegetables
After dinner snack: can be 1/2 or full protein shake.

I have to also consume 64oz of liquids: Water, tea, coffee, Soup broth, sobe light, crystal light flavor in water, Vitamin 0 water. And you cannot cook vegetables in oil, only with cooking spray and any seasoning.
Or I cook with broth a lot to make different vegetable soup.

It’s helped a lot, but it isn’t easy. Good luck to you.

Increase intake Protein etc..your at what they call a stall..your body is not use to the drastic lost so it needs time to catch up..on one of the doctors notes they explain about it more and what you can do sometimes it works and sometimes it does not but it's worth a try..if you can't find it let me know I'll search for it again and post it for you

You aren't alone. I felt the same way. I started at 377. Lost 51 lbs on my own and had surgery at 326. At 2.5 months I lost about 29 lbs. I had the sleeve and I am still glad that is what I chose. But it is slower than the RNY. I'm now at 278 and that one more lb for 100 total is so elusive.
I've noticed a pattern. I lose very little for two weeks before my menstrual cycle. Then once my period starts I drop faster for a week or two. So, I know for me it is very hormonal.
The non scale victories like smaller clothing, dashing up the stairs, seatbelts that fit, getting my ring sized, and more are very motivating.
So...keep on your plan. Keep checking in here. You aren't alone. You are doing great.

Welcome to frustration! I have been struggling with the same five pounds for about as many months. During this time, my body has made changes. Catching up to the lost fat! All the advice everyone has given is good advice. Just pick one thing and work on it. For me it is tracking. Best wishes and keep me updated. [emoji16]

What you may be saying to yourself right now is: "but you don't understand! I lost 25 of those pounds during the first 2 weeks!"
The thing is, the body likes losing slow and steady. When you drop more than an average amount (say, 1-2lbs a week)... a LOT of your losses are Water. Water comes and goes, and can play havoc with the scale.
For example, let's say you DID see a 25 pound shift on the scale over the first 2 weeks. Sorry, it wasn't 25lbs of FAT. A good chunk of that was just water (probably 15-20 pounds of it). Over time, your body has cycled through water and fat, and by now, you probably HAVE lost about 37lbs of fat.
It looks like you are 11 weeks out. I had lost 36lbs during the first 11 weeks postop. (I started at 305lbs).
I'm now 8.5 months out and have lost 101lbs. You've just got to give it time. I figure it might take me another 8+ months to get to goal. But who cares? What else am I gonna do?

    Ok. First ((hugs)).
Second. Let's have a reality lesson and do some math. If you are watching my 600lb Life, turn it the fuc* off! Seriously. Very few of us will lose 25-50lbs a month--even if you weigh over 300lbs. We just won't! There is no quick, overnight way (short of amputation), to get below 200lbs overnight. So settle back and establish your very own "best practices."
Third. 37lbs in 9 weeks is what you are describing to me. So let's take 37lbs and divide by 9. You are losing 4.11lbs/week. PLUS there is always a "3 week stall" post surgery that can come on any time between week 2 and week 6-8. It can last 1-2 weeks. My RD told me I will lose between 2-3lbs per week at the start. It will slow as I approach goal. She said, expecting anything more than that sets us up for disappointment, disillusionment, and dissatisfaction/depression. She told me to ALWAYS follow the rules for my food stage: water/hydration/vitamins as scheduled for each day; and low fat Protein first at every meal. If there is room, a bite or two of low carb veggies. If more room, then a bite or two of low carb fruit. Eat 3 meals and 2-3 scheduled Snacks a day until you can eat enough at each meal to only eat 3 meals without over-stuffing your new anatomy. No drinking with meals or for 45 minutes after meals.
Fourth. Track every bite lick and taste that goes down your piehole. Religiously weigh and measure and track!!! Don't cheat yourself. A bite eaten in the dark, standing up over your sink in the middle of the night STILL counts!
She promised me if I did that, I would lose the weight. But if you have any doubts, go see your PCP about a low thyroid and also have them test for your B1 levels. Many of us obese and WLS patients have low B1 and it makes all the difference!!!

Are you tracking your food in an app? - There several free ones for your phone/computer - Baritastic, Lose It, myfitnesspal, etc.
Are you getting the minimum grams of Protein and your Water? Post a typical day of what you consume. Up the protein to at least 80 and water to 100.
If you are meeting those goals, try changing up the type of foods you are eating. If you eat a lot of chicken, change to fish, add a different vegetable - try roasting some julienne parsnips in the oven with garlic and olive oil, add some good fats - like avocado to some tuna or chicken. Bake the fish on parchment with a little olive oil on it - coat with dijon mustard or a tablespoon of full fat mayo and some spices, don't overcook it. If you are at 600 calories or above - add 100 calories more for a few days, and then drop down 50 for a few days, switch it up.
    Post your intake here.
For the person with emotional eating - do you have a support group or person? Come on here to vent before you eat? What are you feeling just before you take that bite - tired, anger, anxiety, bored, worry? Food just tempoarily numbs those feelings - get a notebook and write it out first - cry, get it out, punch a pillow, take a walk. Food won't fix the issues, take an action.
    Let us know.

I have a question then, not Cookies, but rather about carbs. What about lentils and fruit? My dietitian says that without carbs, we'll crash. So I avoid breads and pastas and stick to Beans, lentils, vegetables and fruit. I'm not losing crazy weight, but I'm still losing 10 lbs a week. More manageable loss I guess.

I just had my one year surgiversary on Halloween.
My surgeon told me just after surgery to shoot for 70-80 grams of protein a day and 50-70 carbs.
I track every bite on My Fitness Pal. Eating that way came to about 700-800 calories a day most days.
I wasn't really tracking calories but I know from the app how many I got. I never worried about fat.
I lost 100 pounds in 10 months which got me to goal. People who have more to lose usually lose faster and those with less to lose lose more slowly (not always just in general).
Since reaching my goal I have lost another 10 pounds. I am trying to slow it down.
At my one year check up my surgeon told me to aim for at least 1300 calories a day. 1400 would be better.
I struggle to get that much in. I predict I will hit a low weight and then bounce back up a little.
I am currently 138 and he doesn't want me under 130 for my height.
I know a lot of people say they don't track calories but if they are restricting macros (protein, carbs, fat) they are not getting very many calories. It helps me to pay attention to macros AND calories because, like I said, I need to increase calories at this point.

Actually whole grains are really a tiny part of the plate. As you said they are very filling and I rarely eat bread of any kind for that reason. My daily carb count usually falls some where around 50-60g, but I am not counting that on purpose. I chose foods for their nutrition value not the macro. I eat a lot of Beans and legumes, veggies of all types, tofu, fruit in smaller amounts, nuts seeds, brown rice, quinoa, occasionally whole wheat Pasta, and salad with dark leafy greens. Once or twice a month I eat a little salmon or other fish and 1-3 eggs per month from my chickens. My goal right now is 90% whole foods plant based with the other 10% being eggs/dairy and fish/chicken. I purchase locally raised free range chicken when we eat it. The dairy comes from the full fat creme I use in my coffee and my daily Protein Shake. I eat very little processed foods and stay away from sugar and refined carbs as much as possible.
This is what is working for me and is what I believe from my research to be a very healthy diet. You have to figure out what is going to work for you long term.

Sorry you MIL isn't willing to take your advice. All you can do is try.
This is why I have been spending so much time researching nutrition and diet. I have listened to 6 books on this subject and still feel like there is more to learn sometimes.
You are correct that many of the nutrients that are bodies need are best absorbed from the whole foods. This is why restricting our diets to just meat with a bite or two of veggies is not good long term.

Actually I was just using her as a real-time example.. the other parts of the post are the more interesting MIL has gone through so many diets that she thinks she knows it all.. but is also TERRIFIED to eat. She has lost 30lbs, and wants to keep up the momentum, but also doesn't want to give up things like diet soda or biscuits and gravy. She's all over the place, honestly.
I'm thinking that's how a lot of us were on diets in the past. Just not really sure how to actually make it happen. Personally, I planned out each diet to a "T".. had all my rules and parameters in place, then embarked upon them. The missing puzzle piece for me was the knowledge that a diet has to be forever. Somehow I missed that memo, and thought they were supposed to be for a few months or so. My diets were designed for maximal weight loss in a short period of time, rather than durability. Life circumstances or hunger would knock me off plan, lickety split.
MIL's "plan" is to see if she can continue eating like, 500 calories a day.. and she'll make sure she gets at least 20g of Protein. (yeah, I'm eating this whole ounce of pork.. because I had half a cheese sandwich earlier with a whole 5g of protein in the cheese).. psycho...
Yes I'm venting here.. but I don't to her. I'm actually pretty nice (maybe a little firm).
    I'll mention WW to her.

I was clueless before surgery. That's why my weight and health were crappy. It's eye opening to go through this process and learn how to fuel your body correctly. Nutrition is key to health.
If people ask I will discuss weight loss. Many people don't want weight loss advice from a bariatric patient. The main reason is they don't think anything we say applies to them. Their mind is set that our weight loss is only successful due to surgery.
Most want a quick fix. They don't want to know it takes work.

If you type "obesity" and "malnutrition" into a search engine, it will return over a million results. The first few articles that show up are pretty much saying, hey! Obese people are actually malnourished! Who would have thought?!
Then you read the articles, and they start blaming the modern agricultural methods and processed foods, soda pop and high fructose corn Syrup. They could be right.
But I'm interested in following this in a different direction.. or perhaps just further along the same lines.
So, we'll take a person (we'll call her Cindy) that is eating the typical flour and shortening diet. She is gonna be short on Vitamin C. (And D, and chromium, and iron.. etc. etc but we'll pick on C). So, now the body says, HEY, we're missing something, yo!! But, it can only say it with a nagging hunger that sends Cindy searching through her cupboards. Her eye lands on some ice cream (in the cupboard.. I know, right?).. and she digs it out and starts eating. But since there isn't vit. C in the ice cream, a couple spoonfuls doesn't quell her hunger, so she eats until she's ready to pop.
Now she puts on some weight. 5'1 Cindy, who should weigh maybe 120lbs, now weighs 140. With the increase in weight, her body now has to work harder just to exist (the muscles have to carry the extra load, etc), so she needs MORE nutrients.. more Vitamin C, and Calcium, calories, etc. etc.
But, does Cindy increase her consumption? No, of course not! She sees her pants don't fit, the scale has the wrong number, and so what does she do? She goes on a diet! Slashes her calories. But if she just eats less of the same nutrient-poor food that caused her to gain weight in the first place, then she's eating fewer nutrients too! (Imagine she was eating a big plate of spaghetti that had 2 cups of Tomato sauce on it, and changes to a small plate of spaghetti with 1/2 cup sauce. The majority of the Vitamins in that spaghetti are in the sauce, and now she is eating 25% of the vit C. that she had been).
The pounds drop off, but so does her basic nutrition level. Eventually her body rebels and she can't keep to her diet anymore. She starts eating again, and her body is screaming for nutrients, but keeps getting fed junk, so the pounds just pile on. Now she's heavier than she was before!
People that are carrying too much weight need to be FED, not starved. But WHAT they are fed MUST CHANGE! We have all the energy we need (and more).. but it's the missing nutrients that we must find and replenish.
Bariatric surgery works because we are able to decrease our calories. The postop diet is designed to keep our Protein levels up, and we are to take vitamins to replace those we don't get from our food. But not every vitamin comes in pill form, and not every nutrient has a blood test. We HAVE to continue working to improve our food choices so that we can fill all those needs.
I have people at home that are trying to lose weight, and I'm watching my MIL grab about 1oz of pork loin to eat for dinner (with some corn). I'm like, what the *expletive* do you think you are doing? She's sooo.... clueless... when it comes to nutrition. But she won't let me formulate a plan for her.

I agree with everything you said about walking. I'm 6 weeks out & have been at a stall for 3 weeks. I haven't weighed this past week, as it would go down a pound, up a pound. I made a commitment with another person to weigh weekly instead of daily, as they were struggling with it too. I am following all the Dr.'s guidelines.
