  1. Do you think he doesn’t want you to lose weight? Like trying to sabotage you? It must get not be that AT ALL... but dont you go sabotaging yourself or throwing your hands up. Breathe. Get the surgery and then make him make his own dinner for a year!!! That’ll teach him. Seriously though, I am sorry you are so upset. I hope he realises and apologises. Hugs
  2. Haha complain away! I start my pre op diet tommorrow and I’ve never been a fan of fake sweetener flavour either! I’m 3 days after you so I am looking forward to your updates. Are you eating the free veg you’re allowed on the pre op? I might just have some extra strawberries to keep me going. Are you excited? I’m totally excited but a bit nervous too, but more excited. I have an endoscopy today and I’m even a bit excited about that! What’s wrong with me! I am a crazy person! Looking forward to updates [emoji16]
  3. And thanks for the good wishes [emoji16][emoji16][emoji16]
  4. Blue!!! Gawd! Yes I’m hoping to not remember my endoscopy either!!!! [emoji16]
  5. That’s so great! I’m a runner too. Praise be the running and all that! You sound like you’re doing so fantastic. I agree, I think the diet and exercise are vital, congratulations on your success [emoji16]
  6. That sounds great Berry. Yes I’m hoping that I can gradually bring it back, I can’t imagine a life without chilli in it! But if I can’t tolerate it then it’s cool. But chilli hope!!! [emoji16]
  7. Ah that’s shitty. I understand that you feel really hurt. I wondered what to do about this kind of thing and I decided to tell my family and a few close friends and if anyone else asks them I will tell them. But that’s my own personal decision and yours was yours. That’s upsetting and you’ve got every right to be angry. I think also that there is a lot of shame around WLS which is not warranted. Obesity is a disease and not understood and you are doing something excellent for your health and well-being. Some people don’t like to see people change. You become a threat. You know the story, it’s probaly been written about heaps on this board. I guess you have a few choices now.... let your husband know how disappointed you are and don’t tell anyone else, tell a few people, or just let everyone know if they ask and put a barrier of protection around yourself in your mind. People may be extremely supportive, you would think they would be if they are anyone who loves you. You might be surprised. You are so worth this and nobody has any right to pass any judgement on you. It will be interesting to see how you feel about this in a year or two. Like the lady above said’ people sometimes do shitty things’ I know it’s easier said than done but nobodies opinion matters. You are the person that matters right now. Very best wishes on your wonderful journey x
  8. Wow well that sounds great! Congratulations and continued success [emoji16]
  9. That’s so good! How was the first week and first couple of days. I don’t know what to expect as everyone seems different . Oh and congratulations [emoji16]
  10. Many congratulations [emoji16]
  11. Omg is it the white drink? Ewwwwww. Congratulations and you sound like a trooper! I’m hoping to be like you. I’m fairly robust. Are you feeling full? I want the full! I guess it’s a bit all over the place at the moment but you must be so happy to be done. I’ve got an endoscopy tommorrow and sleeve on the 7 th oct. can’t wait... not so much on the endoscopy!!!
  12. I agree I think if you go to Mexico you should stay for a week even in a hotel or something. I am so sorry for this lady, what a massive health and financial cost for her. The clinic should make some amends and contact.
  13. I love this thread, I'm so sorry you had pain. How are you going now?
  14. Oh I didn't see anything you said. But yes Asian store sizes def run smaller! I don't think you've offended anyone unless I missed something! ?
  15. Well done you, I think it’s a great decision to do it when your young. I had a pregnancy like yours with precampsia and everything. I should have done it after that! You’re having yours 5 days before me. Keep us up to date! Mine is on nov 7th and I can’t wait. What a great decision you’ve made for your health [emoji16]
  16. Yayyyyyyy I have chilli hope!!!! [emoji892][emoji16]
  17. I am a big chilli fan and general spicy curry food eater. In fact I think I put chilli on everything! Anyone else like that. I’m not sure I will be able to do it after the sleeve but wanted to know if other people tolerate chilli well? [emoji892]
  18. I’ve heard about the nose running and sneezing lol! Is it a sign your full? Should you stop eating then or does it happen from the beginning?
  19. I will be just starting normal food at Christmas so it’s going to be just a little pick at things here and there I think. It’s easier in Australia as we just have picnic style and there are heaps of healthy salads and stuff. Nobody would really notice if you didn’t eat desert. Not that I’m bothered anyway ... I’ll just be like I’m fine it’s the sleeve, don’t ya worry bout me!!! [emoji23]
  20. I watched a video from a weight loss doctor and he said feelings of hunger are always about needing an antacid. That cures it apparently and he puts people on it for a few weeks at a time if that starts happening. Hope that helps.
  21. How long since your op BDME? Peppermint tea sounds a good idea, I might try that after mine! You’re doing SO WELL [emoji16]
  22. Omg SO GOOD [emoji16][emoji16][emoji16]
  23. What do you think? Why are they used exactly? How have you found them to work? And should I get some! ?
