I Never Give Up
I found one in Houston. I'm waiting for approval and the next step in this process. It will take the full three month progam at least. Now, there is now a real chance for me to get this done! This is still a bit of a fight. Not sure why living in the state and working to pay for insurance? I have to fight for this life saving procedure (which is crazy)! Its big business and not good practices for patients.

I Never Give Up

Nausea after revision from sleeve to bypass
I too would suggest that they look at your abdominal area and see what is going on. 110 since July seems great. However, I have a friend had emergency surgery because something happened with her revision. .

I can start the process 01/31/21
Wow, heck of a year 2020 is for me and countless others. I had move on after truly trying everything last year. After 5 surgeries (only 2 related) and countless testing? I will qualify for my revision sometime in 2021. Maybe it was this knee pain that I am currently feeling [emoji16] I am so scared. I don't know why? I know that is my best way to improve my health and increase longevity. I talked to so many doctors and mental health professionals over the last year. Opinions vary! Can someone tell if they too struggled with this process and then achieved success after being revised! Thanks so much! Heck of a year!

GERD before surgery advice
I occasionally got heartburn before my sleeve. At year 3 my GERD became horrible. I had a herna repair in December. The GERD is better. I am still happy that I picked the sleeve due to having low iron and other absorption issues. Bypass would have killed me. I am now in year 6. Not sure what to due next about GERD. However, I'm not given up.

Fight, fight, fight and fight
Wow, this has been crazy. I love my sleeve. Now, I need a revision. After 7 months of having a repaired herna? I still need to be revised due to GERD and other issues. This will happen sometime by the end of 2021. Insurance sucks sometimes. However, I am happy to see some relief soon. Don't give up.

Find something cheaper and less deadly. Try doing positive things like walking. Cocaine is an expensive and deadly habit. Are you trying to die?

Surgery this month, wife threatening divorce
Awww cool! As a nurse maybe she concentrated on all the stuff that could go wrong. Now, she has researched. It was the best decision even with getting GERD. I walk, run and play. Your turn in a few months. Kiss her as you go into the operating room. Tell her you will be right back! Then do just that and kiss her again!

Stomach stretching
After 5 years of being sleeved? I had my sleeve checked last week and "no stretch." However, I have learned how to eat around my sleeve. Things that could go through easily and not cause as much GERD. Knowing that, I have stopped. After my last procedure I eat less and healthier. I have lost almost 20 pounds in just over a month.

WHAT EXACTLY IS THE ISSUE WITH CARBONATED DRINKS??? & other questions!
It's a scare tatact for the most part. Those drink have useless sugar and other ingredients. Most of us are "food/sugar addicts." Staying away is the best option not the only option.

I actually prefer not to die
Nothing wrong with a little fear. It's a natural response of fight or flight. Sounds like this surgery could have a positive impact on your ability to do things you like. Once approved, it could be a second chance at life.
