No revision or push for revision
The hard part? Being in my hospital bed and listening to the doctors talk about my anatomy. I don't have a gallbladder, uterus and missing 80% of my stomach. They really had no clue. I am just afraid to alter myself anymore. I did this to live and not to become a science experiment!

Am I losing my mind...
Well, just seeing this on here? You sound miserable! However, if he will not change? Then you have to! Life is to short. You are both examples to your children. Is this how you want them to live?

My sleeve was done 8/1/14. I had my hernia and esophagus repaired 12/2019. Bypass was the best option. However, not covered by my insurance. I knew this after months of appeals. Now, my surgeons and other doctors would like me have bypass. However, at this point I am not sure that is my best option. My sleeve is "perfect." I just don't want to have more complications. I just want to get healthier and lose more weight. That is happening because I can again barely eat. So, I am going to wait.

No revision or push for revision
I am lossing weight after surgery (hernia and esophagus) repair. I had my sleeve done over 5 years ago. GERD was not really a planned issue. However, it's a big issue for me. I think that revsion is good option for many. However, I am scared. I don't want other complications. I spent 5 days in the hospital due to complications with these surgeries. Every doctor was amazed at the great condition of my sleeve. I still have GERD. I still spent a month in pain. I still need to lose weight. Help!

9 plus years post op and weight gain
Change doctors. I have GERD. I just took that nasty milkshake test. I threw it up all over the tech and machine. My sleeve was done 5 years ago. The docs love it. I still need to lose weight. Down still from highest weight by 60 pounds. I had surgery in Dec to help with the reflux and repair a hernia. I guess it did work. Because, I have been in the hospital since last Friday. The only thing I can hold down is one taco and something liquid. I am in sever pain when off meds. I don't regret my sleeve.

Diets everyone?
Mind of matter. I am on a full liquid diet as of the 16th. Yesterday was the first day I real wanted real food. However, I am pushing forward by blending foods like "chinese chicken vegetable soup." Also "egg drop soup and wonton soup." What is also helping keeping a journal and walking my puppy. This is my second chance. I refuse to give up on my health.

I on full liquid diet until the 30th. I am lossing weight. I am afraid it's only temporary. I might just keep it this way for 6 months. Then, I should be fine with protien shakes and I low cal meal for lunch.

work after surgery
To have a lifetime of success? Maybe, stop thinking about this as a diet. It is a lifestyle. Your life style. The way you see food has has to move towards health living. For me it helps. It also has taken 5 plus years for me to get it. That doesn't have to be your story.

I had to start with a fix to my esophagus and repair a hernia. Now it's my turn to make this work. Before, the foods I was supposed to eat created acid. So I ate the food that didn't create pain. I gain 40 pounds. Now, moving forward with my new revised tool. Highest weight presleeve: 281 by the time I had courage to get on the scale. recorded weight before sleeve: 281 Weight before this procedure: 231 Goal weight: 159 to 161 New year and new plan. Goals set and this time I have help.

No problem. The sleeve was great for me five years ago. However, at this point it more what I am working with verses what I want. We will see how this goes. I have one of the greatest surgeons in the country. I got scared then felt a little relief.
