Okay I went to my family dr today because Ive had a sinus infection for 2 weeks and I told my dr that I was having lapband surgery coming up in April and I was scared and excited hoping for some words of wisdom and he said you know the lapband isnt very effective.It struck a nerve with me I told him I had researched and done my homework on this surgery!!I guess I wont be getting his support:angry

Gosh I sure hope this happens to me once banded!!

Please get a ultrasound,the attacks can get really bad I had a attack so bad I couldnt even walk!!They get worse so get it checked.

My husband says Im being lazy I could loose all my weight if I would stick to a diet,but of course hes never had a battle with weight either so easy for him to say!!I wish he would support my desicion but if not hes not going to slow me down or pull me down!!!(im pretty head strong)

Im aready worring about the pain after surgery.On a scale from 1-10 where does it rate???I rate child birth a 8 but I had my totally natural! I had my gallbladder out last summer and that was about a 4! Alot of people compare this surgery to the pain with gallbladder is this about right????????:biggrin1:

Okay ive always been rather honest,but I told my boss a lie today and now im feeling bad!!!I got my surgery date yesterday and I dont want anyone here at work to know but I told her I was having stomach problems and they are going to have to repair an usler(sp)so I could get the time off from work needed to have this surgery done!!!!Please make me feel better about this big fat lie I told!!!!!!!!:omg:

Things are moving fast with my lapband and Im glad!!!Monday Jan. 23 went to first seminar now Wed. Feb 1 meet with psycologist and take behavioral assessment test....then I will get a SURGERY DATE:clap2: But since im self paying we wont have to wait on insurance then one more app.meet with the dr and nutritist!!!!I feel like im on cloud nine!!!!
