Today I have accomplished a huge place in my journey. I finally am below the 300's and I am never going back! Surgery was 1-4-13 and I am down 40 pounds. It's slow, but I am learning more everyday.

I'm 29 and live in Dallas and work in Irving. : )

I was banded this morning! Yippee!

You look amazing! I needed to read this today. I am 4 days post op and am questioning what I have done. I'm starving and weak and feel like I can't go on. Reading that it was all worth it for you made it somewhat easier for me to handle today! Thank you!

I'm being banded January 4th and I start my pre-op diet Dec 21st!

I'm doing ok! Playing with my kids and trying to keep busy! It's just hard to have so many unanswered questions. I really couldn't have gotten thru this without y'all! Thanks!

I have my surgery next Friday and am currently on my pre-op diet (south beach diet). The cravings are bad, and I'm scared just like you but we won't know until we are actually there to see how our bodies react. But you're are not alone!

Try drinking Unjury which is a protien chicken noodle Soup 21grams, it sounds like your not getting enough Protein to keep you full. Unfortunately, the band doesn't change our mindset. Good Luck with your new life journey.
