Hello everyone! My name is Natasha. I'm new to here and looking to have the gastric sleeve done. I been going back and forth with it since 2015 and had my pcp refer me last year and am finally going for it. I went to the seminar and have my first appointment scheduled with Dr Georgescu Sept 15th. Has anyone here had him as a surgeon? Where are my CO people? Anyone have to go through the medicaid stuff here in Colorado? How was it? Any recommendations?

If you are starting to have an allergic reaction, I would discontinue use. Adding more into your system, even with benadryl, could make it worse. If Tylenol isn't cutting it, ask your surgeon for different prescription.
I didn't experience bloating. I would assume that is just the gas use for the laproscopic procedure. That will lessen over the next couple of days.

Hang in there! I had my surgery done on the 17th and as soon as I woke up aftee the procedure i was regretting it. The pain and nausea was so bad that I couldn't sleep for the first few days and was held in the hospital an extra day. I'm on day 4 and things aren't 100% but SO much better. Walking has really helped ease the pain and gas-x strips have been a life saver. Even at 4 days i'm not getting enough liquid but was able to drink almost 16oz of Water, 2oz of Protein, and a whole 3oz cup of sugar free Jello. Each day gets a little bit better. I'm so sorry you are feeling so crummy! Try a cool rag and less clothing. Rest and take your pain meds.
You should take your temp and call your dr if you have any fever or if you don't feel better tomorrow. Be your own advocate!
I think they should keep sleeve patients in the hospital a few days- I had 3 and it was perfect.
